Ok, so I'm super-new at posting on the boards here, but I'm hoping to make new friends and learn a whole lot, so I'm just going to jump in... here goes!

First, a prologue of sorts: This trip started out as a small adventure for myself and three of my best friends - we'd planned to go for a few days and we would join up with two other friends (who just need to get engaged already!) who had already planned a Florida vacation. Then a very dear friend of mine went through a divorce, so I said - "Join us and bring the kids to Disney!" Then, this past spring, I was in a production of All Shook Up (with the original other three), and got along so well with the stage manager that we invited her along.

The Company:

The Original Four
Eric (Me!)
Dale
Amanda
Jillian

Two other friends
Meghann
Rick

Dear Friends
Dorothy
Antonia
Gabriel

Stage Manager
Kim

The Setting:
Disney's Coronado Springs
August 19th-26th, 2011

*Only the Original Four (OF) are staying all 8 days, the rest are staying four/five days.*

Scenes:

Day One:
Arrive at MCO at 8:53 (we hope!), Drop our stuff off and head to Animal Kingdom. We have a reservation for the Spirit of Aloha show at 8:00.

Day Two:
A day at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Lunch reservation at 50's Prime Time Cafe. Hope to catch Fantasmic!

Day Three:
We have an ADR for Breakfast at 1900 Park Fare; and then it's off to the Magic Kingdom.

Day Four:
Most of the gang is planning to hang around the resort, but Dorothy, Antonia, Gabe and I are heading back to the Magic Kingdom, the others are off to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. We have a reservation for Lunch at the Liberty Tree Tavern.
Dinner at the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue.

Day Five:
A day at Epcot - we need to do the Kim Possible mission! We have an ADR for dinner at the Nine Dragons restaurant (not my first choice, but it was hard to get ten people to agree on something), as our last group outing.

Day Six:
We say good-bye to Kim, Meghann, Rick, Dorothy, Antonia and Gabe.
The OF will have dinner at the Grand Floridian Cafe, and then head to La Nouba.

Day Seven:
Our last day at the Magic Kingdom. Dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table.

Day Eight:
Breakfast at BOMA at Animal Kingdom Lodge, and then probably some last minute shopping. Our plane leaves MCO at 7:10, so we'll probably have to catch DME around 4.

The only day I'm a little nervous about is our first day. Do you think we'll be able to make it on-time for Spirit of Aloha?

I'm determined to to create a trip report, as a trip with a group of actors, artists, people in the theatre & kids, is *bound* to create some worthwhile adventures and stories. :-)

Loveee this! Welcome to the trip reports! I am also new to it and I am getting ready to post my PTR in a few seconds! I love the way you set yours up! So creative! Cant wait to hear more!

Thanks, Andrea. I'm looking forward to reading your PTR. :-)

Your trip sounds like it is going to be lots of fun!

I don't see why you shouldn't be fine making it to Spirit of Aloha on the first day. Just leave plenty of time for traveling if you don't have a car.

Have you seen Hoop Dee Doo before? So much fun!

I'm in; sounds like a great group who are traveling together. And you are staying at my favorite resort too.

Hi! Welcome to the Boards! Your trip sounds like a ton of fun! I'm in! :goodvibes

Emma - I really enjoyed reading your TR. :-) Thank you for the welcome... I'm already a little obsessed with reading the boards *ALL* the time. :)

Yay ZFamily, the more the merrier! :cheer2:

Thanks Joycie, I'm sure we'll be fine in terms of making the SOA... It's just me being nervous. I can perform in front of hundreds of people, but being late for things just makes me a wreck.

I've never seen Hoop-Dee-Doo before... I'm looking forward to it. :-)

KatMark, Glad to have you along! It is *quite* the group! I'm hoping we all get along and we don't get sick of each other after the first day.

I'm so looking forward to staying at CSR. I've been wanting to check it out forever!

Ok, so I thought I'd share some photos so there would be faces to go with the names :-)

For Now, The Original Four (OF)

Yes... Make-up. :)

Of course I'm following my fellow NYer! I'll be interested to see what you think of The Spirit of Aloha as we were toying with that idea this time. I'll be thinking on-time flight thoughts for you on the 19th! Are you flying out of Newark?

Yes, we're flying out of Newark. We had wanted to fly out of Westchester, but there was an earlier flight from Newark, so it won out. :-)

Ok so I'm seriously not stalking you, but your link from the other thread was way too tempting, I had to check it out! You guys sound like a blast, I cannot wait to read you report and see all your pictures, don't leave any out, we loooove pictures! My son is working at Disneyworld! You remind me of him, or at least you look like about the same age. Have Soooo much fun!!!

LOL! No worries; I'm glad you've joined in! I'll have PLENTY of photos to share... I can't wait to share with you all. :-)

It's cool to hear that your son is working at WDW; Does he enjoy it?

You sound like you're going to have so much fun! I joining in, and I too am really looking foward to doing the Kim Possible adventures. So much so that I will have to remind myself to let the 11 yo take charge.

Hey new friend, thanks for joining in!

I'm hoping the Kim possible mission is going to be fun!!
