Well, I bought my ticket today, "there's no turning back now". I'm arriving on 8/30 and leave on 9/3. That gives me three full days in the parks, any pointers I should know of? I'm thinking of enjoying my first day at DL, and then go commando on my second day. Then do all my favorite attractions on my last day. Does that sound right? Folks, please help. I know WDW like the back of my hand, but I'm dumbfounded when it comes to DL.

You can do Disneyland in three days. And the weekdays are the better days it is usually slower on those days. You should have a wonderful time. You can go to the official Disneyland website and get an idea about the layout and plan your attack. If you are doing California Adventure go during the afternoon. Disneyland is busier than DCA, our family can usually do all of DCA in an afternoon and use the rest of the time in Disneyland.

First off read all of HydroGuy's tip threads (& the other stickys at the top of the DL page).

Here's a general outline for effective touring:

- DL at MM or Gen. Rope Drop.
- Tour & pick up FP for 2-4 hours.
- Hop to DCA. Tour & pick up FP for 2-4 hours.
- Ride Griz before going back to your motel/hotel for an afternoon rest/swim.
- Back to DCA or DL with the 4-6 FPs you collected in the morning.
- Rinse & Repeat each day.

Where are you staying? what ages will be coming? & how many days will you enjoy DLR?

Have a great time planning a visit to Walt's Park. :thumbsup2

Since you bought a 3 day hopper ticket, take full advantage of your Magic Morning - early entry day... You can enter Disneyland an hour early and it's amazing what you can do in that hour ::yes::

Don't forget to have a churro, dole whip and some popcorn :)

Have a magical trip :goodvibes
