I'm going nuts here

I ordered a new PC for my home from Dell on Monday (my old 400Mhz system is ready for retirement). It is supposed to be delivered to me at work today via UPS. I just checked the UPS web site and they say it is out on a truck for delivery, so of course the UPS guy is running late this morning.

This is stupid. I know it will get here eventually. It really doesn't matter when it gets here today anyway, since I wont be able to do anything with it till I get it home tonight. As problems go, especially in todays world, this is one is trivial. Still, I keep looking out the window hoping to see a UPS truck.

(sigh) I want my new toy!

I know how hard it is to wait! And then when you get it you will have to play with it all weekend to find out all about all of the new "toys" etc on it.

I know.

(BTW - can I have your 400 when you get your new one? All I have is a 233 and a 400 sounds like a speed demon to me! )
