I'm going! celebration thread

We picked up Brooke from school on Thursday with bags packed and the car loaded. She didn't know we were heading to Disney World until she got to the car!

We spent a rainy Thursday in the Magic Kingdom. It never stopped raining that day. We were prepared for rain though, and were able to enjoy all the rides with no wait! And we even got to see a special Rainy Day Parade!

Even with the rain, we had a blast in Magic Kingdom! Brooke was exhausted by the time we made it back to the van.

Friday we enjoyed a breakfast buffet at Cape May with Minnie Mouse, Goofy, and Donald.

After breakfast we explored Disney's Boardwalk. We then headed to Disney's Winter Summerland putt putt course. And then spent the rest of the day shopping at Downtown Disney.

Sunday morning we enjoyed a great breakfast with our cousins at Ohana's!

This was a great trip and got us ready for our longer stay at WDW in December!

Took a chance to see when the next Boardwalk 1 br with Boardwalk view was open in 2011. Last week in January was open, so I just booked it. YAY! Something to daydream about during the next three months. It was killing me since we got back from 15 days in Europe two weeks ago and had nothing to look forward to.
Maybe (in addition to having Ray with me this time) I need a Nikon D7000 to go with me, what do you think?

My DH and I are going with my parents to Ukraine for a distant cousin's wedding and some genealogy research-as good an excuse as any and Grenoble, France(to see DD who is studying abroad there) in less than 2 weeks
