im getting very nervous, just dont know what to do

we leave on july 12, US AIR is the only carrier that flys out of williamsport PA, the airport is 2 miles from my home. however there is a chance that US AIR may cease to exist after june 30. im having trouble pulling the trigger on tickets that may not be worth much on july 12. i know other airlines will help by letting you fly standby but that would require a 2 hour drive one way with no guarantee of actually getting on a plane that day. anyone got any advice or experience with a situation like this?

Start checking around today to what's out there price/locale in your area, with airlines in bankruptcy/chapter 11/standby you never know.

When it comes to a trip that you want to take, my advise make alternate plans today, don't wait. You shouldn't be loosing sleep or getting axiety over a leisure trip. There's so many over carriers, and the connections can be arranged now, you have a bit of time to work with. Good luck
