I'm getting paid to scrap today!

Okay... not nearly as exciting as it sounds. But I am working today (substitute teacher) for the art teacher. I knew I might have some free time, so I brought my current "project" to work on. As it turns out, I have TWO free periods, plus the kids are watching a movie about Monet today, so I will be able to do a little scrapping while I supervise that today! I am SO glad I thought to bring a project along. I would be going crazy watching a movie about Monet for the 4th time today otherwise!

I should be able to sort the photos and plan my layouts for the remaining 3-4 days of our 2005 DL trip. It would be so exciting to finish those books before the end of the year!!......P

Awesome! I love subbing easy classes. I have a great subbing story...I was covering a computer teacher who had all kindergarten classes the day I was there. A little boy had to go to the bathroom, so I stepped out into the hall to make sure he made it okay. He stared pulling down his pants halfway to the bathroom as young kids do and when he turned to go into the bathroom he gave me and another teacher in the hall a full view of the family jewels! She and I just looked at each other and started cracking up!

I agree... subbing little kids makes for lots of funny moments!

I am doing GREAT! I have planned/sketched the layouts for our first day at DL... get this... I will have 10 2-page layouts for EACH child for just ONE DAY at DL! How crazy is that!! That is 40 pages for one day! Thankfully, mostly I am just sort of duplicating it for the second child. I don't copy it exactly... I usually change the colors or embellishments... but if the photos are the same, I will copy the "map". I didn't always do this, but it definitely will speed things up!! I am so pleased with the progress I am making. Maybe I will bring my trimmer and get everything trimmed to size this weekend while I am at DD's swim meet. Then it will be just a matter of selecting colors and getting it completed with journaling!............P
