I read somewhere on a Disney forum to play around with the dates to get the best buy on tickets, as long as visit dates are within the 7-day window.
We're going from 3/15 to 3/19. I was waiting for the Disney sale on 4 Park Magic tickets but my dates are during a short blackout. For that reason, I went back to pricing a regular 4 day park tickets.
If I put 3/12 as a start date, my total price is cheaper than if I put a 3/15 start date. The 3/12 start date covers visits until 3/18 so we'd be ok (flying home on the 19 hence no park visits).
I asked a Disney travel agency and was told that we did not have to activate the park tickets on the stated first day. I'm detail oriented and wanted to make sure that was the case but just heard from a different Disney travel agency that we would need to activate tickets on the 12th.
I need to buy tickets or I'll miss the 60 day window opening for out FPs.
Can someone please help me by sharing their experience with a similar situation? Thanks!!
