Anyone here crochet? Well, I had an idea for a sweater in my head. It's a pullover with a ribbed waist. The front body of it has Fun Fur yarn in it, the sleeves have cables. So I made the sweater, writting down each stitch so I could make it again. The sleeves were the hardest. I had to rip them out at least 4 times before they came out right. It finally fit perfectly.
I found a magazine called "Crochet World" that had an address to send things of original pattern, that would be considered for publication. I boxed it up along with the pattern and sent it off on May 2. On May 18, I received a letter that my pattern would be featured in their Dec. 2005 issue, if I agreed. Today I signed the papers and sent them back. I will get a check within 45 days of them receiving the signed document. After they photograph the sweater, it will be sent back to me. They are buying the rights to my pattern. I'm pretty excited about it! The sweater is called "Warm and Fuzzy Pullover". So if you happen to see a copy of "Crochet World" this winter......check it out.
