DVC card for Sorcerer pass activation?

Makes sense, but the CMs wanted the MagicMobile pass for DVC, right? Not the image you generate on the website that expires in 30 days.

I'm very confused by this statement. How was it "purchased by a DVC-ND account" when you still have access to a "DVC-Y account/card?"

Are you saying you have the 30 day temp card that shows "DVC-Y" when your MagicMobile Pass in fact shows DVC-ND? If that's the case and a CM asks for your DVC card you won't be able to pass that off. CMs don't accept the temporary card for anything. It's pretty useless.

Its a loaded answer! When I purchased my resale it added me as DVC Y for about a year. I purchased an AP for a trip early 2026 while I was DVC-Y. It recently changed to DVC-ND.

I have access to my parents account (where I am authorized/associate) to login or have in my mobile wallet. There was a divorce and a death that put the deed in probate/that has railroaded me being added to the direct deed.

Yesterday afternoon, front entrance guest relations at Epcot.
Renewed two sorcerer's passes
Had to show DVC-Y in app/magic mobile and both IDs.
Took forever, as she had to explain everything and go over all the points, even though we've had APs for decades.
Only glitch was that I learned two AP renewals is too big of a purchase to charge to your magicband. Had to use the actual credit card.

Called it up when she asked for it, didn't have it already open, so no idea if that made a difference or not

Gotcha! GR CMs won't be able to determine which membership the AP was purchased with. The MagicMobile pass from your parents' membership will show your name and DVC-Y so activation will be fine for you.

Hi - following up. Activated at international gateway with no issue. They did ask to see card which I showed DVC-Y and was good to go. They did not ask for my physical ID.

Mine said I can go directly to the gate i didnt have to show anything. When you buy it I think you will know if you can just go to gate I think mine said it on the app. If not just ask to upgrade it. I bought through the phone ticketing line, not MS

I let my AP expire because there's a 9 month gap between expiration and my next trip to WDW. I bought a new AP from the WDW website, and not by calling DVC member services, just to make sure that I get the $100 incentive for buying tickets with the new Chase Disney Inspire Visa.

When I open the Disney World app and go to Tickets and Passes, it says in red text:

NOT VALID FOR PARK ENTRY
Show ID at Ticket Window To Activate and Save to Wallet

I am DVC-BY, so it should be no problem validating once I'm there.
