I'm freaking out about airfare!

I booked a trip for me and DS on our Spring Break. We are celebrating both of our birthdays, just a little late! Trouble? I can't find a decent airfare from DFW or Love Field to MCO. We going Mar 10-17 and I am willing to go a day early or stay a day late (book another room) to keep the fare down. I'm getting more than $1000 for 2 tickets on all airlines!

Can anybody help?????

Go to www.sidestep.com and put in your dates, number of travelers, etc. It will find you the lowest fares. Southwest does not post their fares there, so you'll have to check them separately.

Edited to ADD: I just checked sidestep for you and AirTran is $238 roudtrip per person. There ya go!

I'm struggling because the good price is a one stop flight that will have us leaving at 2:00 p.m. and getting in after 10:00 p.m. which will lose us a day of vacation. The cheapest early flight on Airtran is $489 pp.

I'm becoming resigned to paying $1000 for two tickets but if anyone else knows of a secret please post!!!!

There are flights March 9 to 17 with Air Tran @ $236pp, DFW/MCO. You are going to save around $500 for 2, get a cheap hotel by the airport for that night.

Why not go with the 2:00 flight and stay an extra day at WDW on the $500 you will save on airfare? Just a thought!
