I'm finally a Dis Veteran!!! Thanks Creative DISigns Board!!!

I was posting new DISigns tonight, and I just realized I am finally over 500 posts and am now a DIS Veteran! Holy Heffalumps!!!


When I joined these boards at the beginning of July, I didn't really see myself posting much -- just reading the boards to find tips for my trip and enjoying humorous stories from other DISers. Then my sister clued me in to the Creative DISigns board, and I started lurking and planning my t-shirts for my trip. That lead to me to download a PhotoShop trial to personalize my designs myself and make a few of my own for my trip. I posted a few of my designs in my own thread, and sure enough, the thread TOOK OFF and I got tons of requests! Not at all what I expected -- I was just showing what I'd made. Even though I thought I'd only do those first designs, I started doing a few requests for new ones here and there, and now I do new designs all the time, and I'm LOVING it! I originally intended to stop designing when work (teaching) started back up, but I got Photoshop so I could keep going! I'm still at it and see no real end in sight.

So thank you to all of you who have loved and requested my designs. (Keep requesting! This is so fun!) I wouldn't have really gotten so involved in this wonderful community without this corner of the boards and the wonderful people I've started friendships with here thusfar. Thank you! You have given me a new hobby and new joy in my life! You rock!

Now come help me celebrate my 500+ posts! Can't believe it only took me a couple months! Whoo hoo!

Thanks ya'll! I'm having a ton of fun. Thanks for celebrating with me! I'm so glad I've found an "electronic" creative outlet.

Special thanks to my sis, txmommy34, for weighing in on my thread as she doesn't post often. Without her attention to detail when planning, I would have never found these boards, and I wouldn't be going to Disney for the first time in 9 years! Love ya!
