IThe other issue that they fail to consider is that THERE ARE INSECTS INFESTING AN AREA WHERE WE ALL EAT and a little smell of insecticide may be preferred over INSECTS IN THE FACULTY ROOM.

I'm probably going to bring some industrial strength spray and spray and spray and spray, and frankly, I hope I get in trouble because I'm sick of it. Sick of it. Then my story can be told.

Report it to the administration. If that doesn't help, the custodial crews supervisor would be the next call I'd make. Then the school board. I'd remind them that if the ant infestation moves into the cafeteria, the board of health would not be happy to hear about it.

Can you hide ant bait traps in the room in some unobtrusive spots? Behind the toilet, under the radiators...places like that?

Just don't get caught, because you are obviously known as the "ANT HATER". Do it on a Friday afternoon after the place has cleared out...the ants will have all weekend to party with the poison. No fumes, no mess.

I'd also do it again right before leaving for Christmas break...
