yea! it's official! I'm so excited! I've been lurking on here for so long and now I can tell my own story...
I got home from work and my boyfriend said that he had to run out to Home Depot to get some screws (we are renovating our basement) so this was nothing new to me. I said fine and changed from my work clothes into some sweats. He got back an hour later and said that he went to Home Depot and Lowes and had no luck and that he would have to check other places (come to find out, he went to pick up my ring!). Anyways, he went to jump in the shower because he had been working in the basement all day. When he got out he came into the tv room and asked what I was doing. He told me to stay where I was for 15 minutes. I thought it was because he was going to be putting presents under the tree for me. He came back a little later and asked if I wanted a gift now, I said "sure!" He took me out into the living room where he had turned out the lights and lit a fire, and the tree was lit up. He gave me a beautiful card that made me smile and then took me over to the tree where there was the cutest stuffed bear. I picked it up and there was a small box right underneath him. My boyfriend opened the box and pulled out the ring box, opened it up and said he loved me and that he needed me to marry him. I was stunned! It was like I was there, but not... Of course I said yes, but it took me a minute
He put the ring on and now I'm engaged!!!! I can't wait to start planning my Disney wedding!!!!
