I could really go for some yummy tonga toast right now. SO GOOD! I tried making it once and it didn't quite turn out the same. I think my oil wasn't hot enough and the bread soaked up a lot of the oil.

What could you go for from WDW right now?!

AND what has been your most successful replica of a WDW food?! My Brown Derby Cobb salad is delicious! :goodvibes

An America pavillion Sam Adams! I can find exact replicas in any local bar!! Delicious! ;)

I'd love any WDW food right now, but especially the mac n cheese with the wine reduction from the filet dish at Jiko. I can do without the meat. That sauce and the mac n cheese are amazing though!

Of course, I'd love to have a Dole Whip. Just can't find soft serve pineapple ice cream around here. After that, I think a crepe from France would suit me just fine! :thumbsup2

 I love to have a No Way Jose sundae with extra cherries.

I crave the mahi-mahi from Kona Cafe! and a magical star cocktail mmm... :cloud9:
I made the chocolate mousse like they serve at Le Cellier. It turned out pretty good!

Mai Tai from the Tambu Lounge in a "to go" cup and parked on the beach waiting for the EWP and Wishes!

I have heard from multiple sources that Disney World does not have any good pizza BUT on our last trip we went to the Boardwalk for the first time and I had some pizza from the shop there and I LOVED IT! It was the food that stuck out the most to me and we ate at LeCellier, Whispering Canyon Springs, Norway and Ohana. LOVED IT!!!

I can't believe how many things I haven't tried at WDW. That Mahi Mahi sounds great. I only went to Jiko once and I didn't have a great experience, but that was a LONG time ago. I've been wanting to try it again. Now I know what to order.

Paul, I too could go for a Sam Adams -- cherry wheat is the best!!! Do they still make that?!

My DH wants me to mention that we made a pretty good replica of the portabella mushroom soup from Artist Point. We had to fudge a couple of the ingredients, but it was still very good.

I could also go for a cherry kaki gori (shaved ice) from the Japan pavillion. I had two my last day at WDW to tide me over until my next visit, but it's been 5 months and I think it's wearing off.

Alicia, I just noticed the picture of you and the nuts. Too funny! Where do you get those?

flame tree BBQ sandwich, or caseys hot dog and fries...maybe even a bratwurst from germany. or course theres others, but those were my tried and true favorites that I could go for.

My homemade canadian cheddar cheese soup is the bomb! :thumbsup2 even made it for christmas eve this year.

boo hoo....A beaver tail from canada.
I loved the warm crispy whole wheat fried dough with cinnamon sugar mmmmm why WHY did they leave ?/

Love whispering canyon recipe for salad dressing...SSHHH don't tell I pass it off as my own.

So cheating a bit, because I am completely craving chocolate soufflé from Palo...and I made fairly successfuly once. So, it's not wdw, but still! But, come to think of it, the puffed French toast from CP sounds amazing! Only 7 more months!

No Way Jose with extra peanut butter. Mmmmmm...

Oooooooooooo, I'd LOVE a piece of Grapefruit cake from the Brown Derby please. And I wouldn't turn down a key lime tart from Olivia's at OKW either. :cloud9:

I would  to have a Beef and Bleu from Earl of Sandwich. We were so excited when over a year ago a woman, a disney lover of course and may even be a Dis'r, opened one near us. We went in and got a couple sammies which were a major dissapointment compared to DTD at WDW but still was nice to have to get that WDW fix while at home. Six months later we went back and the shop was turned in to a taco/mexican grill.:sad2: The gal inside at the counter told me it was the same owner but she just couldn't make Earl of Sandwich work. We wondered because it really wasn't a good location for that type of place. Oh well, we'll have to wait till WDW which will probably be a couple years away. Unless:rolleyes1......DLR decides to put one in then WE ARE THERE!!!:woohoo:
