I just got hired! OMG! It is the first job I have interviewed for since I was in College! (DH and I have had our own consulting business for 15 yaers, so I never had to go through the Interview process for that. ) What a relief that I won't have to drag this job hunt out any longer. (Actually, I've only been looking for 3 weeks and submitted 2 applications )
It's not rocket science. It's not anything glamorous or exceptionally challenging. But it is kind of cool. I'm working for Cunard! Just taking Ressies, but hey, it's still working for a Cruise Line. Discounts!!!!!! OH MY! I know it's not DCL, but Maybe I'll work my way there some day.

You know, I was just thinking, I love traveling, and anything to do with the Sea. It could be a match made in Heaven. Maybe it was my passion for the aforementioned that gave me a leg up on the position. (I had actually interviewed for a Princess job, but was offered the Cunard job.
Must be my "mature" demeanor. ) Whatever it is, I'm very excited.
