I need a reason why I should eat at the Concourse Steakhouse. How is there breakfast. My family and I usually eat a big breakfast, skip lunch, and eat a big dinner.

Which would be better to eat at the Concourse, breakfast or dinner. Theres somthing about this restaurant that has attracted me, but we have never found are selves there. Is there a reason. Thanks

I love the Concourse Steakhouse. The breakfast is wonderful. In 2000 I stayed at the Contemporary. One day we went to the Magic Kingdom for Early Entry and walked back for a late breakfast. It was delicious! I also enjoy the restaurant because you can watch the monorails glide in and out of the building while dining!

We love the breakfast at Concourse! We have breakfast there a few times each vacation. I like the Magic Kingdom Express and my husband is dying for the Stickey Mickey :D . The dinner is pretty good too. The service has always been fast and friendly and the food is always hot and fresh. It's a great place to start the day! Enjoy!!!!

We've never tried it for breakfast, but we've had dinner here several times and its always been very good! DH usually tries one of the steaks, and I've had the BBQ ribs - yum!! The creme brulee is also very good!! My DD loves to watch the monorail go by - she usually waves to the people! I like this restaurant - its a great location and the food has always been really good.

and find both really good....but Breakfast is exceptional! Especially the omelettes. It's a really great restaurant and the view above is terrific.

I always wanted to try breakfast there. But lunch and dinner have always been good.

We had dinner at the Concourse a few years ago, and it was very good. Try it, you may like it, and if you don't, you don't ever have to go back.

The Concourse is my favorite restaurant at WDW. I love eating dinner there...I always get the filet mignon and roasted garlic smashed potatoes. There are other restaurants that have food just as good, and atmosphere I like better.....but for some reason I just love the Concourse :)

How about "you were on your way to Chef Mickeys when you saw how crowded it was, so on impulse you decided to settle for Concourse Steakhouse"

If you like smoothies a friend recently told me they do a great chocolate and banana one. Or what about creme brulee s'posed to be one of the best in WDW.

We still haven't eaten there to date and I dunno why either, just too many restaurants so little time.

I agree with the other posters...you can't go wrong with the Concourse Steakhouse. We used to stay at Contemporary every year and we absolutely loved it. Breakfast was great...Mickey Stickey's (we still dream about them!!!) and dinner was always fantastic, filet mignon the best. Service was wonderful, same faces year after year. Since we became members of the DVC we've been staying at the Boardwalk, which we also love, but we do miss the Concourse Steakhouse. Enjoy whatever meals you have there!!! P.S. We even went for lunch one day and it was really quiet and empty that time of day and we had some great salads with marinated flank steak over top and balsamic vinagrette--yum!

Well, we've never had breakfast there, but the steaks are great! And when you're all done with your dinner, you can tip the waiter with your leftover Disney dollars...:p

Concourse Steakhouse is great. Have had many fine dinners there. For breakfast you must try the blueberry pancakes!!!!

We had breakfast every morning during our last CR stay and it was delicious. Had 2 lunches b/c I love their bleu cheeseburgers! Also, had a dinner there and I agree with previous posts regarding the delicious filet with garlic mashed potatoes.

We found this restaurant to be a quiet and cool retreat for lunch when we could manage it particularly since we were there in the heat of the summer and crowds (early August).

We have eaten lunch at the Concourse Steakhose the last 2 times we've been at WDW and will definitely go back this June.

The food is MUCH better than counter service at MK for about the same price, and it's a nice break in the middle of a busy day. Our kids LOVE watching the monorails and shouting out each new color as they come through! We love the relaxing atmosphere, sit down service and strolling through CR shops afterwards. In Oct. we even got to buy an exclusive CR Halloween pin there!

My DH periodically says, "I'd like one of those fabulous Concourse Steakhouse burgers for lunch today." Unfortunately, we live in Texas and it's a long flight for a burger! He maintains his claim that they make the best hamburgers in the world - and he doesn't just mean the WDW!

After reading this thread, we may have to try the breakfast, too!

During our trip in Aug. 2001...

Our lunch at the Concourse Steakhouse (right before our departure), was the tastiest, most relaxing, best service, and all around most enjoyable meal we had during our vacation !

We eat there for a late lunch/early dinner in 2000. On the positive, the food was good....we didn't think it was excellent good, but it was good, and we also enjoyed the atmosphere. However, the wait staff was bad (so bad, that we laugh about it to this day when we tell stories from that vacation) and the kitchen was very slow. We've never tried it again - but there are so many places TO try - that we are still trying new places every year mixed in with our favorites. So, in my way of thinking, your reason for going is just to try it yourself! :D

Breakfast sounds good, but we have only had dinner there. We've had some very nice dinners there over the past few visits.

Really fancy trying this restaurant. Can't persuade anyone to try it with me.

You guys have me convinced that I need to try at least a couple of meals at the Concourse Steakhouse during our upcoming Contemporary trip! Sounds great! :earsboy:

OK OK, uncle uncle....you got me convinced as well

Doing PS for Dinner and Breakfast as CS during our CR stay

Thanks
