I'm Crazy - Hddr

I know this sounds crazy and most of you will laugh, BUT, my family wants to try the HDDR. Heck, I was ready to call and book it and was excited about it. Then I looked at people's food porn of it and the pictures, just blew the whole thing out of the water. Do I understand it right, the meal is served in metal buckets and you get a metal plate?? I can't eat off of metal plates. The thought of the fork scrapping the metal is enough to drive me crazy. Do you think they would give me a different plate? Or no HDDR for us :

Yes, the plates were metal, and if memory serves me correctly the chicken and the ribs were brought out in small metal buckets.
I do not know if they have other table settings, I have never thought to ask because I've had no problems with the metal plates.
The food is quite good and the show is hilarious.

i dont recall having any issues with the scraping, but they do make alot of banging noises..i think the cms do it on purpose as part of the show.
its a LOUD dinner show...so if you dont like noise...i would pass it up..otherwise it was fun...oh & they also serve food in metal dishes at WCC..just an fyi

I saw that about WCC! That is why they got crossed off my list. I think I will stay away from both. Knowing my husband and him knowing my distain for metal tableware, he will scrap his fork on purpose! What can I say, I'm a metal tableware snob.

Oh, thanks for the pic! I can see that fork on that plate and it's driving me crazy right now. Maybe I can send the family and I will run off to the spa and a quiet dinner at California Grill
