Hello!

The more I think about this, the more I'm confusing myself. We are doing a split stay this Dec-Jan. On our day of checking-out from one resort and checking-in to another resort, what exactly will happen to our DDP credits?

From allears I read that the credits expire at midnight on the night of your check-out. Does that mean that when I check into my second resort I will have the remainder of my previous resort's DDP credits + the new DDP credits from the second resort? :confused3

I hope I'm not confusing everyone else even further. Thanks!

Yes, but the credits from the 1st reservation have to be used up by Midnight of the day you checkout from your 1st reservation and check-in for your 2nd. So remember to use the room card from your 1st reservation when dining on that 1st day of your 2nd reservation to use up those older credits first. The credits can not be transferred to your 2nd reservation.

Thank you!!! That makes much more sense. Does that mean that I can hold on to my room key from our first resort after check-out (i.e. they don't require guests to hand in room keys upon check-out)?

Disney does not collect their room keys they are yours to keep. When you check into the second resort keep your ID from your first resort--it will have any remaining dining credits on it as wella s any existing ticket media. Whenyou check in to your second resort do not use any dining credits that are associate withthat package untul you have exhausted your original dining credits or until midnight whichever comes forst. Let's say all you have are two snacks and 4 CS left when you check out use those all up before midnight. If you
have the DDP for your second stay and you have credits and you want a TS then you can use it for that as those credits are fair game as soon as you check in.

It means say you check out today your credits are still good till 12:00 midnight on whatever you have left. Now today again when you check in your new hotel you have today's credit to. I hope that explains it and it's not confusing.
