I'm confused on how the dining plan levels work!

Please help! How exactly do the benefits of purchasing a more expensive dining plan work? In my past visits to WDW we had all inclusive plans and could eat pretty much anywhere without having to figure out how many of which type of credits we had to use. We almost always ate at a table service restaurant. Which plan would allow us to do that now? The wording by Disney is a little vague. For instance, with the Deluxe plan three meals a day seem to be included and I read it as being able to eat at all table service. (with exceptions of Signature and Dinner shows) Is this true? We will be staying for two weeks at the Poly on our honeymoon and we are concerned less with price and more with convience of eating where we want.

The main difference between the plans is how many meals are included.

The basic Disney dining plan includes one table service meal, one quick service meal, and one snack per person per night.

The deluxe dining plan includes three meals, which can be used for either table service or quick service restaurants, and two snacks per person per night, plus a refillable mug for each person on the package. You can use all your credits for table service if you want, for 3 sit down meals each day.

On either plan, the signature meals and dinner shows use two dining credits (two table service credits on the basic plan).

Whatever plan you get or no plan at all be sure you call at the 180 day out mark and make all your ADRs. If not all of them then, make them far in advance or miss out on places you want to go.
