I really want to do Disney family shirts and my brother keeps telling me Disney won't let us in if we wear them in. He says he's even seen someone get turned away and they were told to get a different shirt on or they wouldn't be let in.

So what is the truth??? Please help.

Let you in where?? I have been to Disneyland and on a Disney Cruise and I seen LOTS of people wearing homemade Disney shirts and none of them were turned away... I've seen families wearing matching shirts that were Disney Themed and I thought they all looked awesome.

I've never seen someone turned away from entering the park ever for an outfit, even when they probably should have been, people wear, or should I say don't wear very inappropriate things

No nothing risque.

I'm talking more like Mickey shaped tie dye shirts for the cruise and Mickey shirts from the DISign thread for WDW.

He swears he saw someone get turned away. They told them to remove the shirt and come back with something else.

Seriously, I made shirts for every day of our last trip and we received so many compliments. Many cast members stopped us... to tell us how awesome they were!!! They have wonderful disigners here that are so willing to help and are extrememly talented.

Nope! Not true at all! Wore TONS of DISigns and mickey tie dyes on our trip and got lots of compliments on both our WDW trips!

The DISigners on the DISboards are wonderful. My family wore many of their creations in the parks and never had a problem. Many of the CMs commented how much they liked our shirts.

I don't wear anything but DIS DISigned tshirts when I am in Disney World and I went 4 times last year. On 3 trips, everyone (but DH) wore matching shirts and DH actually did on a few different days. We got compliments and Kudos from tourists and cast members alike. Not a problem.

No worries on wearing shirts you design yourself. I'm a current cm and the only clothing rule is anything that might be offensive. Wear your tie dyed with pride!! Maybe I will see you at MK!!
