I'm canceling but DS still going abd question about ticket.

My husband & I won't be able go for our vacation starting Jan 6th but my DS is still going down. We had purchased a Gold Pass (can't remember what it will now be called) that hasn't been activated yet. Am I correct that he won't be able to activate it as either my DH or I need to be there as the DVC member? If that's the case, would it be best to purchase a 10 day PH now to go on MDE or have him purchase it at guest relations at his 1st park? I don't want to mess up his park reservations!

Call or chat with MS and ask them to make a note on your account that he will be activating his AP (it will be a Sorcerer pass). He'll need a copy of your DVC member card and photo ID and his photo ID when he goes to any Guest Relations outside a park or at DS or the Official Ticket Window at DS. This has been reported several times here on DISboards -- hopefully one of those with experience will come soon to corroborate!
