I'm Bummed (kind of)VMK is making me change my Name

They are making me change my name I am going to miss SkittleLover but on the other hand my daughter made that name up for me when VMK first started and I don't even eat Skittles! Why do you think they would make me change my name after all this time? I was in Host sparky's game room playing walk the plank, I dc'ed and logged right back on and the screen came up to change it.I guess he didn't approve of it. Oh well I guess I will be known as guest for a while.

You know - I had to change my name once before too. I had FunkyMonkey-Bobby and I'm thinking they didnt take it for 2 reasons. 1 because its a copy of, 'Original BobbyJack.' Or just because I had a - in the middle of FunkyMonkey and BobbyJack. Thats why my name on dis is FunkyMonkey when I had the name FunkyMonkey-Bobby . And btw, if you already chose your new name they would aprove it in about a day, from my experiance at least . Oh and I'm sorry about your name change .

Yes it probably was the "Lover" part, my husband said that Skittles is not only a candy but a nickname for some kind of drug Is this true? I have never heard of that. I will have to do a Google search on that. Gosh I hope people don't think I'm a drug addict .

I've heard that sometimes they don't like brand names, so that could be part of it, aside from the word lover. And I had never heard of it, but I looked it up on urbandictionary.com and it does look like it can sometimes refer to drugs as well as maybe some perverted things.

Wow, I am sorry about that name change. You have had the name a long time, I am surprised but I guess I should not be. It seems it could be a combination of things - sometimes I Just don't know what they are thinking. I look forward to recieving notice of you new title soon I hope. Pick carefully you will have that title untill they change their mind again.

I had a character who was eeyyoorre but they made me change her title like 9 months after I created her. I tried many combinations of letters that resemble "eeyore". Now she is WhyNotEeyore. I still don't know what was the problem.

I had to go through the name change also. King Tryton was too close to an actual character for VMK. I even talked with a producer about it and they would not budge a bit. They review titles on a regular basis and some times
companys complain about copyrighted names as well. This may have happened in your case.

Went to log in a few minutes ago and I got a message telling me I had to change my name! So now instead of being EeyoreLvr I am back to being a guest until they officially approve Eeyore_ForMe. This happen to anyone else recently???
