I'm bored

All the laundry will still be there. Anything you need over the next 10 days can be purchased.
The last 3 moves we've done have taken MONTHS to get our stuff. So trust me, you'll be fine.

:scared1:

but our stuff is supposed to be delivered next week
(arriving before we do---which I like because that means hubby gets to do it all by himself).

I hope they don't hold our stuff for 3 months.

That would be baddddddd!

Good luck with the move.

I am slightly bored. I finished the kids back to school lists, even though there are almost 5 weeks left, lol. Just in the event a "last minute" trip possibility pops up, I am free ;) , made spaghetti, Then brought DD11 to soccer, and now missed Big Brother, so need to wait 3 hrs for the next time zone one.

Eating Doritos :confused3.. Chip addiction nightly. DH just started 5 days in a row, and I find the time very long indeed.

What does your husband do?

5 weeks until school and you are all done. That's great!

LLP where are you moving from/to?

Bomb you are so not old. The other kids in your classes are just that...kids :thumbsup2

Momma 5 weeks out is really prepared!

Yes, almost 5 weeks. I have only to buy a school bag for my son, who is SO FUSSY he will be going himself to get it :thumbsup2. Originally it was Jansport, which I bought, and well now he changed his mind, etc, etc. He either goes himself, or goes to school with a plastic bag..lol

He is a Manager for an airline, works at the airport, and hours are 3pm to 3am, so we don't see each other much :) He normally does a 4, 4, but is doing some OT.

Massage!!:yay:
I'm a student. An old old old student.

I am so jealous. I wish we had 5 weeks left! Wait...do we? No, only 4.

What are you studying?

Mysteria--we live in Florida and are moving to Northern Viriginia.

Blast---10 minutes from the house and got stopped by a train. 30 seconds earlier and we would have missed it. Nothing like getting stuck when you are in a hurry to get home. Grrrrrr.

Wow mommasita...that is a crazy schedule.

And yayy---the train is done. This concludes My update of the ride home. Lol!

Yes, I hate the sched, and he like it, because during his 4 days off, we can actually go somewhere. When he has 2 off, it does go fast for him. This might change, but who knows. This is why I think I will try to plan some get aways with the kids while he does his 4 days working.

YAHOO TRAIN IS OVER

Bomb, you are not old. You are wise to go to school. I often think about it.

We had overseas moves.;) I'm just telling you it can be worse. So much worse.:rotfl:

Yeah, I am a bit old in my classes. It's unfortunate that I look old now. I would have been better off going back earlier.

One kid in my science class was shocked that you can drive from the US to Canada.:confused3

So sad, yet so hysterically funny.

We are home and I am once again feeding baby. Watching Toddlers and Tiaras...OMG, I think this may be the dumbest parent comment ever....

"To be honest, I think that being physically beautiful does get you ahead in the world. When you look at mass murderers at mass
murderers that are are trial for, you know, killing thousands of people, it is really hard for society to convict somebody who is really attractive."

It is important to have aspirations for your children.

LLP- I'm trying to convince Dh to move a little bit south in a few years (outside of the "tri-state" cost of living ) Virginia is one place we have discussed. Hope it treats you well!

Seriously? I know where you live. Please don't make me enter that state to come smack you for a statement like that. You don't look old!!!

How much more shocked would he/she be to find out it's the longest unprotected border with points that people can walk across (one farm field to another) without even really knowing you crossed the border.

Good morning.

Sorry I wasn't around last night. Hubby came home, he had been away for a couple nights.

Gonna be a hot on here today, heat indexes up to 110. Good day for the pool I think.

Bomb, I feel sorry for the future of our children sometimes.

Momma, how was the donuts? I haven't had a donut for a while. Yum.

Lisa, hang in there with the move. Just did it myself back in March. hubby was already here in Florida so I was left to pack up and head down with Ty. We didn't have movers though. Did it myself. :upsidedow

Teva, I've never watched Big Brother.

I'm not so bored today. Work is keeping me busy, it's Thursday, we're getting closer to the weekend. Anyone have special plans this weekend?

I am now bored. My body is relaxing as a mover packs the rest of my house. I washed laundry last night and folded it this am and put it back in the basket to be boxed up.

Bought him some Micky D's for lunch and waiting until 3 to call my chiropractor and schedule that massage for tomorrow.

My home hasn't been fully cleaned (as in stuff put away properly) since I got sick in October. And wow----my living room just has the basic furniture in it now.

Feeling less like a wound up tense crazy person. Lol! The stress is bein loaded on a truck to be delivered to my husband.

I'm reading "To Kill a Mockingbird". I can't believe I never read this book, I am loving it.

I have on my bucket list to read some of the classics like that and Lord of the Flies and Mice and Men and some others.
Right now I'm watching little House on the Prairie. I'm a LHOTP junkie. :rotfl:

I just read 'Nellie Oleson's' book and it was sooo good!!

LLP, I haven't moved since 1971. I'm still having nightmares. Good luck with move. Is it a move you're looking forward to?
