I'm booked at Pop Century!!!

We discussed things tonight and I called CRO to find out prices and we ended up booking Pop Century using my CAA card. I have now transfered it over to DU. Now I will be looking for tickets and looking forward to reviews of Pop Century. Can't wait.

When did You book for Tigercat? We called tonight and were quoted $69 a night with AAA, for January. I am so excited! Just us girls for the weekend!

We got the same price $69.00/nite. We are going Feb. 6 to the 10th. It is a couple of days after our cruise on the Carnival Spirit. This is going to be a really big holiday for us. We need it after the last couple of years. We will also be staying with friends of ours as well, before the cruise so my dh will have to take a lot of time off work.

I was hesitant, in fact, I was hestitant about staying in any of the value resorts, but we had a good experience at AS-MO, so I am looking forward to trying out Pop Century when it opens!

We stayed at ASMO 2 yrs. ago when we went with my dd & my dgrdd. We were there for I think 3 nights and then moved over to the Poly. ASMO was okay. I didn't have any problems with them. THe food court was good because we would order 2 roast dinners and split them between the 4 of us. My dgrdd loved the pool. We were in the fantasia building. I thought I'd like to try the new resort out this time though. If we can though we may upgrade to the POR, but we will have to see. THe Poly was really great. The room was hugh and we really enjoyed it. The food was a lot more expensive though.

We are going 4/18 - 4/25 (regular season) and I cannot not get a AAA discount. Supposedly, Pop Century is only showing discounts thru 2/18. Although the CM at CRO says all of the other resorts (even the deluxes) are showing AAA discounts for the time period in April.

I sent another email to Guest Services asking why no AAA, by I am waiting.

Have fun. I am so looking forward to trip reports and maybe someone could scan in a resort map. There was a link here a couple of days ago for a map of the Pop Century, but for the life of me I could not read it!

Hey Poohbear that's neat. Momoftwins when I called for my reservations I was told that there was no CAA discounts available. I had called about 15 min. before that and the man on the phone gave me the CAA prices. When I was on the phone with the lady I told her that. She said that there was no way I could have gotten the prices I did because it was only available to AAA card holders!!!! I told her that CAA and AAA get the same discount. I'm not sure she really believed me but she did give it to me.

Us too! We'll be there after spending the three previous nights at AS Mu, so we'll be there when they open the doors!

Having a blonde moment today.....where will Pop Century be located. I was thinking its in the southern part of WDW maybe near the sports complex? Anyone know?

It's located behind Caribbean Beach, with the entrance on Victory Way. I'm spending Christmas at Pop Century! Have a reservation for Dec. 24-27 there! I can't believe I'm paying full rack holiday rate for that, but oh well....it's a new resort...have to try it out....

We currently have reservations at the CBR for Dec 19-26th but I'm thinking of changing to the Pop Century and getting 2 rooms instead of one. With 2 teenage girls the extra bathroom will definately be helpful! But I wonder what the bus service will be like, would this likely be combined with the other All Star Resorts? Just curious if anyone has heard anything.
