I am dying to go to WDW. Begging my husband for the past few weeks for us to take a quick impromptu trip to the Happiest Place on Earth. He asked for vacation time two weeks ago and was told he could take it anytime, before spring gets here and work picks up. He won't commit to a trip even thoughhe says he wants to go.
The torture:
My 22 month old son got the Disney Sing Along Videos for Christmas. All 4, 3 are set at WDW and 1 is at DisneyLand. He is watching them over and over and over again.

I WANT TO BE IN DISNEY !!! :sad1:

I wonder if I made reservations and packed our suitcases if I could him to leave for a trip next week????
:tink: Wishfull thinkin .

Ahhhhh - I have a DH like that too. :rolleyes2 I know your PAIN! :rotfl:

Over the years I've learned to just tell him the dates that we ARE going, and then he gets the time off.

For example, I would say, "I have everything all ready to book for Feb 12th thru Feb 17th, so you better make sure you can get those days off." And DH will say, "Okay, I'll do that today and let you know." 9 out of 10 times, he'll call me later that day to say he's all set for the time off, so book the trip! :thumbsup2

Just tell him some dates, and see what he says. Maybe HE'S waiting for YOU to tell him some dates, and right now he's on some other board starting a thread - "My DW is driving me crazy! She keeps saying she wants to go to WDW soon for a small vacation, but she won't commit to any dates for us to go!" :rotfl2: ;)

Sounds like my mom and step-dad (not the disney part, but the committment to vacation part...).

Pick some dates. I'd even go as far as to say "I'm planning the trip for these dates...I'll be booking it Monday, so make sure you can get the time off before then"

There's not much time left before spring break so its time to move on it!

Actually I had dates picked; we were to leave home last Friday and be at Disney this week. But I spent a couple weeks really sick so the week before we were to leave he said it was too soon and we cancelled. He said we'll go in a week or two. Now he won't commit to when exactly.
We have a trip planned for the first week of December, but that is too long to go without a trip sometime inbetween. Summer is out because his work is too busy, plus we don't like the crowds that time of year.

Anyone know which is better the first week of March, the first week of April or the first week of June?
