My DH wants to know when i'll be done planning our trip to WDW

i said when we get there

and when we get back i'll have to start again

anyone else spend most of there time either planning for wdw or being at wdw

i can't imagine not planning and learning

DH laughs at me and says i;m obsessed

anybody else?:earseek:

Me too, my entire family thinks I've lost it!

Yes--me too. As soon as we got back in May, I immediately started planning another trip!!!

If my husband only knew how much time I spend on these boards.

He appreciates the trip once we get there and it is all planned; however, he and everyone else, have no idea what it takes to research every aspect of the trip to make it as wonderful as it could be.

Happy planning!!!

Gloria

I'm so obsessed I am planning two other vacations for neighbors and friends! My husband was annoyed when I was planning our trips but this drives him crazy! I can't help it I love planning trips for both us and other people. Wish I could figure out a way to make a living doing this since it takes up so much of my time! Maybe then it wouldn't drive him crazy.

That being said, he LOVES the trips we go on and he laughs that my kids (4 & 6) don't want to go back as often as I do! Luckily he LOVES the world as much as I do. He also knows that I am helping my friends have a magical trip as well. So he tries not to get too annoyed!

My DH says I need to go to counseling!!LOL!!! He is actually serious! I will say this, he does seem proud when I get calls from people I work with, and ones HE works with, to help with their planning! He will admit thet I am a pro at saving $$ and time at WDW!! I just wish he loved Disney like i do. At least he tolerates me and my trips!:sunny:

DH thinks I'm insane. He was getting a little cranky when I was deciding on our PSs, and talking non-stop about wanting the IllumiNations cruise, and wanting him to get up to help with the phone calls, but when I got a cruise (without his help, thank you very much), and all the PSs I wanted he shut-up!

Now we are at the waiting game, 53 days and counting (shoud get one of those counter thingies). Now I have to start planning the packing phase of the trip.

I know he'll appreciate all my hard work (who am I kidding... this isn't work, it's fun!) once we get there, and our trip runs beautifully.

I have become a closet DISer! My kids are grown with their own families and everyone of them thinks I'm a bit off my rocker. DH and I love WDW more now that we are empty nesters, than we ever did when our kids were home! Our next trip is planned for May 2-12 and I love this planning stage. We're including the Backstage Magic tour and Cirque this trip too!

Yep, I'm guilty as charged too!! My 30 y/o son calls me a DisneyFreak!!! And I am sooooo proud of it. He just doesn't get it. My dh used to feel that way. But, on our last trip in August, he was the one who suggested DVC!! He doesn't roll his eyes anymore when the subject of WDW comes up. And he, too, is quite proud when he tells people to '...oh, just call my wife. She knows all there is to know about Disney.' If he only knew just how much I don't know yet. But, I'm here on these boards everyday, so it won't be long now;)

My itinerary is now laminated, but I'm not that obsessed.....it's not on lime green stationary.

hahah..you'll nvr believe this..but i'm only 15 and my family lets me plan our vacations...i write everything down and have one of my parents make the phone calls. But sometimes they have no idea what to say so i end up talking to the person..lol..and it all ends up good...i do all the resort, tickets and ground transportation arrangements. It's because of places like teh DIS that it's all at the reach of my fingertips::yes:: ...i LOVE planning....it's like part of the vacation in itself...right now i'm planning for our jan. 2005 trip..never too early to start!:earsgirl:

I love planning my vacations (and any other poor soul unlucky enough to say the word Disney in my presence)!:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

I'm already in the talking phase of trying to get my husband down again next December.:)

DW tolerates my planning obsession but she sees the benefits in a well organised trip with all the info at her finger tips

LOL - I put my sheets into a sleeve for protection - I was thinking lime green paper might be over the top

thanks

M husabnd used to laugh at me but no more once he saw the time and money my plans (and itineraries broken up into 5 minute intervals) saved him...he converted!

I think they all thought I was pretty much a loon....until we had such a fantastic time. I've gotten nothing but praises since our return on what a great vacation I planned for us. :-)

Yep, obsessed planner here. My DH and even my DS9 teased me about planning every last detail of our trip in June. I was gratified to actually get to see them "get it" when we approached the 50's Prime Time Cafe for our PS (on Sunday of the last Star Wars Weekend). A disgruntled man was coming away from the restaurant and told us, "Don't bother. It's a two-hour wait unless you have reservations." I answered, "We have reservations," and breezed on in. DH and DS looked at me in awe. The icing was watching Fantasy in the Sky from an almost deserted rose garden after Tinkerbell had flown right over our heads. DS asked, "How do you know about all this stuff?!?" I said, "The DISboards! Remember all that planning you made fun of?" Now DS wants to help plan our next trip---in fact, he and I hammered out an itinerary over the weekend for our November trip. A chip off the old block!

My DH is forever accusing me of having an affair with Mickey.
He tells people his wife is in love with a mouse, who am I to argue right? ;)

:wave2: Me too!
I know my family all talk about me behind my back like I'm nuts... but at least I know that I'm doing what I can to make our trip the best it can be!

I must say, though, DH was rather impressed when I told him about disney_girl27 being only 15 and planning her family trips! ::yes::

I have been to Disney 5 times in the last 4 years, which by the way is all hubby's fault since he took me the first time, and I just discovered this site in August of last year. I have been on it every day since. I have planned and replanned so many trips in my head and I have my birthday and anniversary trips planned out for the next 3 years. I can't wait until our trip this December and hope to get a short one in during May or July. I am obsessed. We were supposed to move to Tampa this year, so I expected to be at WDW at least once a month and I still feel that way. I would quit my job and work for Disney if I could convince hubby to move to Orlando. For now though, stuck in NJ and planning as many trips to the world as possible.
