I'm Back.

Why is it the time leading up to a WDW vacation seems to drag but the minute you get to WDW times speeds up???

We went last month. I had not been to WDW since the year it opened. I cried when I saw main street again, and I cried harder when we left the MK. I knew I should not have turned around and looked at the castle one last time.
No questions for ya. Hope you had a magical time! I know we did.

We just got back yesterday from a 10-day trip. Back to work tomorrow after a full two weeks off. So depressing. I hope your trip was as magical as ours was!

I am amazed that all of you get so depressed coming home. I am curious (and I ask this with nothing my good curious intentions), why are you all so depressed? Is it because you have to go back to work?

I am only asking because I do not understand....I promise I mean no harm by my question. For any vacation I have been on, I am happy to come home.

I think it's just that for some of us, so much of our lives for about a year before the trip is full of planning and growing excitment. And then you're there, and the week goes by really fast, and then it's over.

I'ts alot like experiencing a let down the day after Christmas.

My vacation is never long enough for me, I would be very happy to extend it for weeks (however working gets in the way). Ready to go home? No, I can't say that I am ever ready to go home.
