Hi everyone,
got back Fri morning. Had a great trip but been so busy since.
I haven't made any notes so won't be doing a trip report but a summary of highs and lows.

Highs

All of it really but these stand out.

The Villa @ Terra Verde

Birthday package at Discovery Cove, swimming with Dolphins was fantastic.

Birthday breakfast with Pooh and friends at Crystal Palace.

I'm not a really big fan of thrill rides but hubby and I made a vow to do every thrill ride in every park and we did it. I'm quite chuffed with myself, Expedition Everest was my favourite. Don't think I would do Tower of Terror again though.

The Hoop De Doo Review was great fun.

An evening at Seaworld, loved the 'Shamu Rocks' show.

My favourite non Disney restaurant this year was Bahama Breeze, great food, service and atmosphere.

Shopping Malls got some great bargains.

The girls both receiving 'Year of a Million Dreams' certificates at Animal Kingdom.

The girls receiving 'Year of a Million Dreams' limited edition Tinkerbell pins, they were so chuffed because you can't buy these.

Lows

The Pirates show was a little disappointing.

The Tiki Bar at our resort has limited hours 12 noon until 3pm. We are not big drinkers but because my hubby won't even have one drink with his evening meal we thought we could go back to the resort for a drink to end the evening but it didn't happen.

The Cracker Barrel, the only bad meal in two weeks and the service was terrible.

The last night was 'rained off' so we didn't get to see the illuminations at Epcot, we still haven't seen them after 3 visits. But surely this is a good excuse to go for a 4th visit isn't it.

And of course coming home :sad1:

If anyone has any questions feel free to ask.

Bye For Now

Sounds like you all had a fantastic time!! we have been 7 times and still havent got to see the illuminations, every time we go to Epcot there is a thunderstorm and we miss the fireworks!
I love cracker barrel more for the shop though, i love buying the little ornaments and candles in there, sorry to hear you had a bad meal , which one did you go to??

Hi,
I paid an extra $178 for the premium birthday package.
After our Dolphin interaction the trainer announced it was my birthday I was told to hold out my hands in the water and the dolphin came swimming back out and dropped a bouy into my hands that said 'Happy Birthday Gaynor' on it. I then got an extra fuss with the Dolphin. When we left the water a lady came over wished me a 'happy birthday' and handed me a bag containing an underwater disposable camera and a 'I swam with Dolphins' t-shirt. I was told to come to the restaurant @ 2.30, upon arrival we were taken to an area where other partys were seated (we were all celebrating our birthdays about 5 of us). There was a steel band who announced our birthdays and then the staff came out holding a birthday cake for each party. We had drinks and cake and the rest of the cake was boxed up to take home. It was a lovely moment and not everyone can say they had a steel band at thelr party.
Included in the package was a photograph and a DVD of our partys Dolphin swim.
It was a wonderful way to spend my birthday and well worth the extra, you are made to feel really special.
I would highly recommend it.
