Had a great trip, very relaxing this time as we only had park tickets for the first week. I'll post more later but just give you the hits & misses...
misses
:
- shopping: either I was all shopped out or just couldn't be bothered but I didn't do much shopping this time, even though DH didn't mind going into the shops that much and the $ rate was great. A lot of the same stuff everywhere and there are only so many Mickey T-shirts a girl can wear ...
- Narcoossees: the food was great, but the service was very rushed and impersonal.. no chance to enjoy our meal
- Photo's:took a lot of photo's but a lot of them didn't turn out, my fault as I just didn't take the time for them
- Pleasure Island: didn't spend enough time here, was looking forward to a few evenings at the Adventurer's Club but somehow it just didn't happen.
hits
:
- not having to rush everywhere and see everything.
- finally made it down Summit Plummet!
- weather was great, not too hot.
- brilliant location at OKW, 5 mins to the main pool/restaurant etc. 2 mins to the quiet pool, and if we looked carefully we could see the ferrry to DTD arriving/leaving.
- great Pin Trading - specially the last couple of days, Cast Lanyard pins were everywhere!
- introducing JJ to Lee Arenberg (Pintel in POTC) - I will never forget the look of surprise on his face to see a small stuffed penguin dressed as Jack Sparrow (pic to follow)!
- attending a Cast member stage production of Little Shop of Horrors. And getting to park in a CM parking lot and taking a VIP CM bus to backstage at the MK.
and my absolute highlight of the trip: meeting Alice Davis!
