I'm back .....

from my all girls holiday in NYC - No husbands, no kids, bliss... Have terrible jet lag. Feel really dizzy and tired but had the most fabulous time. Not many low points just VERY long wait in immigration which seemed strange as I got through in seconds with NO questions asked at all. Lots of highs main ones being dinner at 'The View' (the revolving restaurant at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square with the most amazing views - so much better than Empire State) not the cheapest meal I have ever had ($555 for 4 of us - although they do have cheaper buffet version on another floor) - four of us flying round Times Square in a bycicle rickshaw (hysterical) and sitting in Jimmy Choo watching one of our group spend $2500 dollars on shoes and a matching bag (guess which one of the four doesn't have husband or kids!) then on to a bar for champagne cocktails. Fabulous ..... now off to pile of ironing my family have left for me ...
