So I'm back. (Bet yall didn't even notice I was gone. LOL) I just got back this morning from a cruise. Actually we got off the ship yesterday and stayed in Florida overnight. We went on Princess Cruise Line and it was very nice. I spent a bit (ok, ALOT) of money on the cruise, but oh well. LOL. We went with my mom's friend and her family. I had never meant any of them before the trip, but now my mom's friend refers to me as her little sister. LOL. My mom stayed in Orlando for a business conference that her friend is also going to. Her friend said to her "Why didn't you let my little sister stay with us?" LOL. But anyways...it was a very nice trip. The ship was beautiful as were the islands, especially St. Martin. Oh, a little side story...we were sitting on the beach on St. Martin and there wasn't really anybody around. They had a few stray dogs running around the beach. I was just sitting on my towel and one of the dogs walked right up to me, brushed against me and sat down on my towel, leaning up against my back as if she were my pet. Then I got up to get her off my towel (didn't mind if she sat next to me, just didn't want her on my towel) and my dad got up to shoo her away. When she saw my dad get up, she ran over to me and stood behind my legs like I was protecting her. LOL. She was so sweet.
If you have any questions about Princess Cruises or cruises in general (I was on Carnival and Royal Carribean before this one, so I can give you an ok comparison between the 3), feel free to PM me or whatever. The thing I will say, though, is that while Princess was very nice, it was more for the older adults and senior citizens than kids. Carnival and Royal Carribean had much more to do for my younger brother and I liked Royal Carribean the best out of the 3.
I'm also curious as to whether other people feel the same way as me about these cruise lines, or even others. We definitly want to take another cruise soon (in a year or 2) and are trying to decide which cruise line. It most likely won't be Princess. As of now, it will probably be Disney (if we can get a good deal) or Royal Carribean unless somebody here gives me some advice as to what to check out.
