I'm back - had a great time

For those who don't know, I went to my best mate's fortieth birthday party this weekend, in Wetherby. Had a brilliant time - haven't laughed so much in ages. Drank too much, ate too much and most importantly got to spend some time with my 2 best mates who I haven't seen since we moved to this god-forsaken place. The party was a great success, even though her husband hadn't managed to keep it a secret (not much gets past her) and she got loads of lovely presents - including a hair net, support stockings, tena lady panty liners, a hot water bottle and a copy of 'People's Friend'

I even managed to get chatted up in the pub yesterday afternoon, even though it was by some old geezer which restored my self-confidence somewhat after my mate's 5 year old son said to me yesterday afternoon 'You're quite fat, aren't you Aunty Joh' Bless!!!!
