We arrived home late last night. What a trip we had. We were there for two weeks. It was too much Disney for my DH, but the perfect amount for my DD's and I. All Star Sports-VERY happy with my resort choice. I loved Surfboard pool the best. After the 4th day I was sick of the food court. The staff was very friendly and pleasant to deal with. The parks-Animal Kingdom was our favorite. Expedition Everest was awesome, and Kali River Rapids was enjoyable. DH didn't like Hollywood Studios, but my DD's and I loved Rockin Roller Coaster and Tower of Terror. We didn't see as much of Epcot as I would have liked. Magic Kingdom-the only park you can really compare to Disneyland. I liked it and had a good time. However, I didn't feel the same Disney love and magic I do whenever I'm at Disneyland. I suppose I'd feel different if MK was the park I grew up going to throughout my childhood. I thought Space Mountain was too bumpy, but LOVE that ride at DL. We enjoyed Splash Mountain the most. Pirates was fun, though it seemed like it was down a lot for technical difficulties. We went to both water parks and liked Typhoon Lagoon the best. It sure brings the water park in my home town to shame. Now that I'm home, I'm exhausted. I think it's safe to say I'm Disney'd out at the moment. :rotfl2: I definitely plan on returning to Disney World again in at least 2 or 3 years. But if I do two weeks again, I'm going to want at least a moderate resort. All Star Sports was nice, but I want a hot tub and a resort with more entertainment for my rest days. Thanks again to all you wonderful Disers for helping me plan my trip of a lifetime. I couldn't have done it without you.

Awesome!:)

Sports was the first Resort I ever stayed in at WDW and I'm headed back there tonight!:)

I also love Surfboard Bay!

That whole area is so pretty-especially at night!

Did you get to "experience" any of the famous South American Tour Groups?

It is still a little early for them in masses, but they do love to stay at Sports!:)

I find Space a little too bumpy for my liking as well since they refurbed it. I was at Disneyland a couple of years ago and rode it there for the first time and what a difference. It was a smooth, fun ride! Glad you enjoyed your trip!

Glad you had a great time. I agree, Disney's water parks are very special, hot tubs rule, and Space Mountain is really jerky. We're going to Disneyland in November and I look forward to riding it there.

Glad you had a great trip! I agree that Disneyland is a hard act to follow, but MK is awesome in its own way, and when you consider the cumulative effect of all the other parks/resorts/Disney Springs, WDW is mind blowing. :earsboy:
