I feel a bit shaky. The doctor said I might see results as soon as 3 days from now, but I should allow 2-3 weeks to really decide if it works. I'll describe it in more detail after leaving a little space here for the squeamish.

Okay, I got a total of 32 injections. I had five above each eye and six along the forehead frown-line. Five more on each side of the head and then six at the back of the head along the base of the skull.

Some hurt quite a bit-- a very sharp pain that passed quickly (above the eyes was the worst), while others didn't'hurt at all (some of the base of the skull ones).

I got kind of nauseated part way through, but we took a break. I think part of the problem was that the doctor had stale coffee breath. LOL

Edited to fix a bad grammatical error.

Donna.. hope you are feeling better right quick! I lived on coffee when I was seeing early morning PT patients.. always had mints in my pocket... I fretted so that I started carrying my toothbrush with me.. I hated the thought of breathing stale coffee breath on my pts.. yuck....

May I ask you.. do you notice any facial muscle tone difference?

No, not yet at least. He did say my frown line would get better. LOL

I left out that he used nearly the entire 100 unit vial on me.

That is alot of injections to endure... whew.. especially in sensitive areas like the face. I sure hope it works. best wishes!

That was very considerate of you to allow some "space for the squeamish"....wish I would have heeded that warning...yikes!

I hope that after all you have endured, it works out for you Donna. Feel better soon.:D

I know someone that had it done and the results were unbelievable. She had only done the the lines in the middle of your eyebrows but then she was going back for the crows feet around the eyes. I wouldlove to get my laugh lines near my mouth but botox isnt for that area of the face. I dont have wrinkles anywhere else, YET, that is :D

YIKES, that's a lot injections in some very sensitive areas. I sure hope it helps you with those migraines. Migraine headaches are a miserable thing to endure.

Wow!! And here I thought it was just in the wrinkle areas! ;)

Really hope it works Donna!! Good luck and next time offer the Doc a mint before he starts. :p

Good idea, Cathy. LOL

The sights of the injections are determined by the different areas you feel pain.

Those were the least painful, Cathy. I had more pain on the side I was feeling migraine pain on and no pain at all on the other. It was the above the eye ones that are very sensitive.
