The show was great and made me want to go to DL tomorrow. Dh and I were thinking that we need to be deciding when our next trip will be because we are so missing the park! (It's been since Nov. ):rotfl2:

Anyway, I won't ruin the show for those who haven't seen it. I will just say it was a bunch of fun. Cute storyline. We had a blast.

I did a typical "Shawna" (me) thing though. I had bought our tickets in early Dec when they came out on the first available day. Well we always go the opening night to take advantage of the half price seats. :thumbsup2

As long as we have been going to Disney on Ice here it's opened Wed. night. I just ASSUMED our tickets were for tonight. We walk up and it's me, dh, dd, ds and my mom and the ticket guy looks at us and says "These were for last night." I thought he was joking and laughed and proceeded to walk in while he shot his arm out to stop me and showed me it said TUESDAY!!!:scared1:

OMG what had I done!!!! We had to walk around to the other side of the building and trade our tickets in. My first thought was for 5 seats together we were now moving from row 16 on the first level to nosebleed on the 2nd.

Luckily it wasn't packed and they said we could remain on the 1st level but in row 27. Ok it was our mistake we will take what we can get. So we wait about 15 minutes while they talk to all sorts of managers about how to handle "us". We had now become "those people". Mom and I were cracking up with embarrassment and the realization that this must not happen much because 8 men were back there starring at our tickets.

We have to pay the difference because it's now not the opening night special. When they finally handed our tickets to us we saw they printed row 8 on them in the same section where we had row 16. This had to be a mistake. We decide to proceed.

We get to row 8 section 106 and our seats are already taken. I headed back up to the usher who checks the tickets and goes down to see the people in our seats. Apparently they were in row 8 but section 206.

Yeah, we finally sat down 2 minutes before the show started. Thank goodness we got there 45 minutes early. We thought we would be sitting there bored! NOT.

Something like this ALWAYS happens to us! I guess it makes for funny stories.

Glad you had a wonderful night - despite the error. And even though you had to pay the difference, you got even better seats - CONGRATS!!

Glad it worked out for you. :)

We went to Disney On Ice last weekend & my little nephews really were into the show. They got superhero wristbands as part of the AP special they were having.

It was a lot of fun. We usually get them souvies from the show but with all the confusion we didn't. Grandma likes to buy them for the kiddos. She gave each $20 after we realized we left with nothing and we took it to the Disney Store and scored on some sale stuff. Spoiled kids. Mom never did anything like that for me growing up!!!:)

I am glad you liked it! We had such a good time, my son is still talking about it! What a nightmare with the tickets, glad it all worked out for you. The show we went to had big sold out signs at the entrance.

there was no one there. It was only about 40% full I would guess. Strange. We really lucked out.

Oh my when I read your thread I had to grab my tickets and make sure mine were for Wed LOL. I was pretty sure though since I knew we were going on our anniversary and I knew that was on wed but still. PANIC! LOL.

Glad you had fun and glad you were still able to get good seats.

I can't wait to go and the best part is we leave for Disneyland the following Monday! :)

We went Friday morning and there were lots of empty seats then too.

I agree, after seening the show I feel like I need to plan a Disneyland trip too.
I bet that was their plan all along. ;)

I'm glad the ticket thing worked out for you.

I did the same thing with tickets for a show at Gammage once. :rolleyes1
They did find us pretty good seats for what was supposedly a sold out performance (although not as good as the ones I originally had) but we had to pay the full price for them. That ended up being one VERY expensive show!
