Ok, this trip was a little different from what I'm used to. Due to the economy and the size of the party, we stayed off site. We stayed at the Villas at Seven Dwarfs Lane. Which I have to say was a very nice quiet community. They were town houses. Sooo..much room, we were not on top of each other. The party consisted of me and my daughter and my childhood friend and her 4 young boys. So it was me...33...DFriend..34...DD..14..her DS..14, DS..10, DS..8, DS..6. Since I live in fla and she does not, I did all the shopping ahead of time. We were able to save money buy eating breakfast in the room, packing snacks and drinks and a sandwhich for lunch. I had a collapsable cooler (12x18)ish... We used a double stroller for the youngest and the cooler when it was filled.

Day 1...MK
We aimed for rope drop, but never get anywhere on time with 4 boys who don't want to get up in the morning. We did arrive by about 930. Very hot day, so we did fantasyland and the speedway. Waits were around 15-20 mins except the usual ones like PP, Dumbo and Pooh. We took our time due to the heat and these kids were not used to walking this much. We went back to the room around 2pm. The kids got to swim for a couple hours before the rain set in. Didn't rain long and we headed back to MK. We got back around 530ish. We did all of tommorrow land and shopped.
Day 2...AK..DQ
Again we aimed for rope drop, but arrived around 915ish. Again another hot day.:scared1: We got to do all of the rides and shows at AK by 330. We left and tried to go swimming but the lightening and thunder said no. We headed over to DQ. I had never been there before. If you have boys in our age group, I totally recommend DQ. They loved it. I even loved the classic arcade games. Brought back my child hood. All arcade games were free, so were the virtual reality. Stayed till close at 10pm.
Day 3...TL..Mini Golf
We arrived at 915 and had no problems getting a place to put down our towels and spread out. We stayed till about 4pm till the rain headed our way. It was not extremly croweded. We played mini golf off site.
Day 4..HS
This was probably the most crowded park due to Fantasmic being only showed twice this week. Not to mention they extended the hours till 10pm. It took some strategic planning but we did all rides and shows except B&B and the IE. We did see IE from the big screen outside which was good enough for us. LMA only showed twice that day, so it caused us to miss B&B, but with 4 boys they were happier with the car show. I headed straight for TSM and got our FP. I have to say, I like TSM better then BLSRS. It started raining at 6pm and didn't stop till 9.
Day 5..Just slept in and went to DTD and DQ again.
This time me and the 14 year olds found the internet, so while the younger boys played we sat on the internet. AHHHHH:worship:
Day 6..MK
We started out in Adventureland and then bounced around to avoid long lines. We did a lot of shopping and did everything we didnt do day one.

It was a good trip...we had a few snags. In HM...we were trying to get the small ones to go on and a woman had a grand mal seizure right beside us after the elevator part. Not sure why but it could have been due to the idiot taking flash pics in a dark room.:headache:...They closed the ride to let EMS take her out. We couldn't get them back on.
In TOT...some idiot in the first row decided to put his/her legs over the wall and caused the ride to shut down in mid drop. Talk about scary. It was pitch black for a solid 5 mins and slowly took us back where we got on. We got to reride but the newbies that were with us wanted no parts of that ride.
In KS...we were pushing our double stroller through the line, like we were told and some young girl cuts in front of us and tries to bring her whole party with us. Well I made a comment to her about cutting in line and her father literally starts cussing me out in front of a whole bunch of children. He got really rude and nasty. I eventually told him and I was going to have to report him for his language in front of children and he shut up. I mean my friends 14 year old son had to get involved because he was screaming in my face.

Other then that we had a good time.

So beside the "idiot" people on your last day, sounds like you all had a good time. I, too , thought that TGM is better than Buzz.

We did have a good time. I think the crowd calender was wrong too. I would say on Saturday the 16, it was an 8 day. But the waits were not long at all during the week.
