I'm back from a HUGE computer crash!

So, I'm trying to catch up on this board among other things after our Vegas trip when my computer goes fizzle, crackle, pffft, and CRASH!!!!

I have been without a computer for the past week, so now my DIS withdrawal is almost 2 WHOLE WEEKS! I'm back, finally, and have a whole lot of catching up to do! However, it isn't going to get done tonight. I'm just glad to be back and able to get back to my DIS-CON planning! I've missed you guys!

Mine crashed and almost burned a week ago today. I spent the entire next day panicing and calling Microsoft. Fortunately only 1 program was lost, so it wasn't any big deal.

I had to book off work today because I was sick, and also because my friend who I help out that's in a nursing home fell out of bed for the 2nd time this month, so I'm busy dealing with that. To put it mildly, I AM NOT HAPPY with this nursing home right now. There's a lot more to that story, but my post would be way too long, and besides I have to get up there to see what's going on now.

I'll get back to my DIS-CON planning (which I'd much rather be doing anyway) as soon as I get things straightened out there. We will be there, really!

Well, I had a little DIS fix when we first got home from Vegas, then the hard drive completely blew. Now, I'm trying to figure out what I lost & get it all back the way I want it, plus get caught up with DIS-CON! I'm out of work today with a stomach virus, so that limits my computer time somewhat (I can only stand to sit here for just so long before I have to go lie down), but it's better than if I was working. Fortunately for me I had backed up my most important files because I knew something was wrong here, so at least I didn't lose everything.
