I'm back form WDW

Wanted to let everyone know what a great time we had at WDW. Got to meet some of my pin pals. Teresa A great pin pal friend. David and Teresa we had a great time at the Contemp. ANd a great surprise pin too. We are still thinking about June Event but a go for the Sept event.

And Barb and Blane a great Mystery Dinner and Adam's surprise.

Also, ALl the great Cm that help me get a Lanyard pin. It was so had to ge going in the morning with a 3 yr old. It's either me getting old or I need a lone vacation.

Got some great pins off the CM lanyard I was just happy to see a pin other than those Snow whites and the 7 dawfts or rather 6 Grumpy is hard to find. the CM lanyards were full of these pins. It's ashame that people can't spend a little more on pins so everyone can have fun. By the end of the day only those UGL... pins were left. every child had one.

Doesn't make it fun when they flood the lanyards with useless trades.

So go to the DS and buy a 4-5 dollar pin and make it worth while for everyone not just YOU.

I know that the regular pin trader won't do this but in case one of the guilty ones read this I put in my 2 cents.

Other wise it was a great trip. I've been to WDW many times never traded before. This was our first time and I really liked it. Meet a lot of nice people.


That's what makes it so great. The PEOPLE.

Welcome home! Glad you had such a great time. We'll have to get together soon so I can see all your great new pins!

It must get very frustrating with all the castmembers having the same pins on their lanyards. I guess you have to try to trade early to get any selection of different pins.

Hi Cathy, Welcome back. Hope you brought back some good traders. Take a look at mine and Jordan's wants. As for the ugly pins on the lanyards--we always trade great pins. I still have a couple of shoe boxes full of DS pins from 100 YOD. I traded tons of them on our last trip and saved some for our trip in 3 weeks so that Jordan can trade them.

Welcome back to reality! I understand completely how frustrating it is to see the same pins lanyard after lanyard especially Snow White the dwarves! I found the Hallmark Pooh, Piglet & Tigger pins I traded were popular with CMs because the pins were different than what they regularly see.

I also found the lanyard series pins hard to find. I got VERY tired of suits with lanyards telling me that more would be out later that day, but they couldn't give me a clue when. It was not my idea of guest service. When I found lanyard pins I even had one CM (in a suit) tell me I could only trade for two pins off his lanyard. Since my husband was with me I picked four. The CM was kind of nasty & said two. I said two for me & two for him (pointing to my husband). I got four !

And poor little Adam ....

Hi Cathy!! Just got home ourselves.... it was great to meet you, David and Teresa at the Contemporary on Friday night!! Jordy said that the pin meet was the highlight of her trip - thanks for helping make her first Contemporary pin meet such a great and memorable experience!! She is sitting on the floor as we speak putting all her new pins in her new and improved BIG pin bag

Hi Cathy,
It was great to finally meet you face to face. Also enjoyed
meeting all those pin traders at the Contemporary including
Dagny (Jordy was great with all those lanyard pins). Teresa and
I had a BLAST!! It was a plus for a surprise pin to come out
while we were there. Disney must have known that you were
coming.
Hopefully we will see you again in the end of June or in
September.
Bring Adam...he was great!
