Hi everyone, just to let you know we returned home today.
We had a fantastic time,

The highlight of the holiday would have to be getting to do Mission:Space.....and it was amazing......so different to everything else!! I just asked some important looking CM's who were hanging around near TestTrack if Mission:Space would be opening today, and he told me probably around 4 o'clock...and it did!!!!!
Other highlights would be Shrek and our Chef Mickey's character meal - the kids absolutely loved it - and so did the adults!!!

Weather was hot - and several days with no rain, and 2 days which were very stormy - MEGA rain......

There were no low points, except the delays when travelling.
I was slightly disappointed with Restaurantosaurus Breakfast.....

THe kids - age 3 and 4 tried everything they met the height requirements for - BTMR, Splash Mountain, Spiderman, TestTrack etc....everything that was 40", but not ToT....

Ok, jet lag catching up with me. I will try and get some sort of trip report together very soon

Cath:D :D

Welcome Back Cath

You sound like you have had a wonderful time. Lucky you...Mission Space! Can't wait to hear more.

Hi again

Now beginning to feel human again and almost at the end of the laundry....!!!!

We really did have a fantastic time - Mission Space was brill!!! I don't want to give too much away about it and spoil the surprise for everyone going soo, but there are 4 of you in each 'space ship', and each given a job to do - navigator, pilot etc. It is quite an enclosed space with shoulder restraints, and there is a small digital screen in front of you. It starts up, and that's you lifting off.

You can actually feel the skin on your face being pulled........it felt really strange. I loved it, and think it is better than anything else in Orlando.

We liked Cumbrian Lakes, really easy to get to WDW and Universal. The villa was great too.

Security was really tight at the US airports - we were out via Chicago and home via Washington. Chicago airport was enormous!!!!!

Trip report coming soon!!!

I'm delighted to hear that you had such a great time. The more reports I read about MS the more excited I get about our upcoming holiday. There is a rumor going around that MS shut down to the public this past week until the official preview date of 15th of August. Hopefully you can help prove or dispell this rumor. Did you get to ride MS this past week, on or after the 14th?

Kind regards, Luis
