Great trip report! I loved the pics, and enjoyed the photos of the airport monorail (when we see that, my kids and I feel like we've finally arrived!) and the WDW gates. Can't wait to read the rest of your reports, Thank you.

might be the best trip report I've ever read. I can't imagine going solo, I think I would cry without my DH. We don't have any kids, maybe that's why I'm not interested nor need a solo trip. But, I loved reading about yours. The pics are an excellent touch. You're a good photographer.

P.S. We're going in 4 days - Beach Club - 8 nights. I agree with you about the Boardwalk. It's got a good vibe, doesn't it? We love that area.

Yup, ya gotta snap emm quick and hold the cmaera still but the monorail is one of the few shots you can take without having people wander directly in front of you.

Wow, one other person has that same emotion run through them when they see that goofy airport monorail. Kinda neat. I love that thing...the fact that the same voice used to welcome you onto the WDW monorail is used on that one makes it even better. Imma dork.

Getting close to finishing the next installment.

Boardwalk right around the corner?! Sounds fun. Enjoy....stay cool. It's gonna be a hot one. I've got 10 days booked in September. Will probably be trying out Coronado Springs or back to POR. If friends decide to tag along, I will try the WL or AKL. I dunno if I can handle Pop again. Too much noise for me. I'm not looking forward to the Sept heat or rain but May has me somewhat broken in. Man, it was hot out there.

If friends join you, have you thought about renting a DVC room at WL? It would be cheaper and bigger. Just a thought. I"m sure you've looked into that.

My girlfriend is renting points for a December trip to Beach Club with her family and she keeps asking me why everyone doesn't do that. Maybe it's a best kept secret?

I swear, I thought about just signing up for the DVC and tossing a $15,000 check at those people while I was there last time but I have some real estate here in town to purchase in the very near future. For now, I will stick to hoping that my AP gives me some room deals here and there.

Renting some points is sounding like a tasty idea and I will look into it even more seriously now that someone else has given me the nudge. Thanks for the advice. Seriously.

I dunno how this next trip is going to pan out. I need to sort that out by the middle of this month for sure.
