I'm BAAACCCKKK!!

Hey Everyone!!! I've been off the board for a couple weeks due to work, soccer games, cheering and the best part of all OUR CRUISE!!!! YEEEE HAWW!! DH & I left Thursday morning for a 4 nt cruise out of MIA to Key West and Playa del Carmen. It was our first cruise and was SO much fun!! I took 6 rolls of pictures and should have them back tomorrow. I can't wait to see them and start scrapping!
We put my computer in the shop last Wed and just got it back this morning so have had a couple days to scrapbook. First chance I get, I'll post to November's challenge. I have finished 4 pages and have journaling to do on 10 so this should be a decent month for me.

Welcome Back....glad you had fun! My trip to Key West this past May was interupted by one of the hurricanes.....monsoon type rain, but we made the best of it. Hope you enjoyed all Key West had to offer and more.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. Key West was fun as always. We try to go every year or at least every other year if at all possible. Was sad down there tho b/c Wilma has really taken a toll on the beautiful little island. They had water surges of 9 ft and more so all the trees, shrubs and flowers for several blocks inland were either stripped or turning brown from the salt spray. Many, many of the stores and bars along Front Street, Duval and over to the Southern Most Point have severe water damage. Even the cone had 1/2 of the paint peeled off from the constant battering of water, wind and waves. However we did find a new museum we haven't been to yet and enjoyed it alot. It was the Pirate Soul Museum on Front St. If you get a chance to go to it you should. It was really neat. Had 1 of only 2 original pirate flags and a huge treasure chest. Disney helped fund the museum and made an audio tape that will give you goose bumps!!

I got my pictures back yesterday and can't wait to start working on my new album. Have to finish up my pictures from last December on The Caribbean Princess and then will get to them!
