Well I'm back from my trip and it was fun but had a few glitches. We had a great time in San Diego. We toured the Midway which, for those who don't know, is an air craft carrier. VERY interesting. Then we went to the San Diego Zoo and Seaworld. Both very fun but it was very cold and overcast so that made it a little hard to enjoy but we still had fun. Then we went up to Disneyland and it was very cold and rainy the entire week. Also I ended up with a very bad migraine which set me back for the last 3 days. I was able to go to the park but unable to ride most of the big rides. The good news was we did win dream fast passes but rather than using them we saved them as a cool keepsake because we always are able to score tons of fast passes on our own and we wanted to keep them intact. The very next day we got in line for pooh and they were handing them out AGAIN but they stopped before we got there but we almost won them 2 days in a row!! That is the first time I have ever won anything out of all the times I have gone so that was cool! And then to almost win two days in a row! The crowds were not nearly as bad as I had expected and although some may think of them as bad we usually go during VERY busy times so to us they were very manageable.

We celebrated my step daughter's 16th birthday and I ordered the cake from Disney dinning and it turned out VERY nice! I have pics if anyone is interested in how it turned out. I know we had a thread a while back about that. We also celebrated our anniversary and got the pins and were told happy anniversary many times. The last cool thing was we tried to do the Jedi Training our last two trips but it got rained out and then with the rain AGAIN this trip we were afraid it was going to be a wash AGAIN but Thurs we got a break so tried for the last time and Katy got picked! So she was thrilled. Shelby probably could have but she chickened out at the last minute. I think Darth was a bit too scary! ;) All in all it was a good trip other than the weather and my illness. We were glad to get home and I know in a few months when it sinks in that we won't be going back for a LONG time and when my AP renewal comes in the mail and I don't renew I will be sad but for now I am Disneyd out. I am still on that high and am quite content for now so I can live vicariously through you all's trips! :)

I'm sorry about the migraine, but otherwise it sounds like fun! I'm glad Katy did the Jedi taining! Kinsey and Jackson both did it in November and it was a highlight for both of them. My FIL keeps talking about taking us to see the Midway when we visit, but we haven't yet. Did the girls enjoy it?

One last thing, let me tell you how miserable it is getting the AP renewal in the mail knowing you can't do anything about it! I stuck mine through the shredder right away because it was too hard to look at! But at least you have your WDW trip in the fall to look forward to!

Talk to you soon. Soccer sign ups shold be soon right??

Hey good to see you!! I see you are all signed up for next Feb!! We are thinking about going to Mexico in Feb so it is either there or Disney but we may not be able to do either with Disney World cuz coming off THAT trip will be expensive LOL. So we may not be back to Disneyland till next summer or longer. I can't even imagine that! But yes the girls liked the midway. Got a little bored but they liked it. And yes we are all ready for soccer and swim team too! :)

See you on the boards! :)
