**WEDDING REPORT**
It all started out a beautiful SUNNY

Tuesday morning. DH and I woke up pretty early, and my mom and I go to get our nails and pedicures. My mom rented a car, so we drove to the closest Nail salon (near Wal-Mart in Kissimmee- they were GREAT!!!) The pedicure was soooo relaxing, and I had a full set of acrylics put on. The woman did a beautiful job!
There was a little bit of confusion as to who I was to eat lunch with, and my mother and I had a slight tiff, and I ended up in tears. ("I'm not supposed to be upset on my wedding day!!! Waahhhh!!") Well, the gals from Beaute Speciale showed up as I'm crying my eyes out. It took me a little while and a glass (OK, styrofoam cup) of champagne to calm me down, but the gals were awesome. Carolyn Allen showed up about 10 minutes later to steam my dress while Ana and Debbie did my makeup and hair. My hair was done up in an up-do with my tiara, and a veil underneath. My makeup was prefect- it was very ME and not too *bridal*. I showed them a few pictures of Christina Aguilera that I liked, and Ana adapted everything to suit me. I felt so beautiful!
My mom called to ask when to help me into my dress, and I was still pretty upset at this point, so I had DH help me into it and I had my mom ceremoniously zip it up. (She ripped off the little Mickey Ears zipper pull I had on there, too. Grrr.) We rushed out into the limo, and- uh-oh! It looked like it was going to POUR. The rain started to fall, and I got a teeny bit upset, but I was not going to let it bother me. We decided to turn onto the radio- and we rocked out to Metallica- so we took that as a good sign! We looked at each other at about the same time and said "*This* is why I'm marrying you!" (We're metalheads)
Well, it started to storm- lightning, thunder, rain... well we had our own "private fireworks," haha. (Courtesy of God!)
We rolled up (hehe) to Franck's and were immediately ushered into the Planning area, where Misty took a few photos, and then I was wrapped by Tanis in white garbage bags to protect my dress from the rain. I was still determined not to get upset about it, so I modeled my new plastic attire with style, and under a cover of umbrellas, made our way to the Pavilion. DH and I went into the Bride's vestibule to dry off and havea few quick "getting ready" photos, and a brief run-through of what to do. (I was told I was the calmest bride they'd ever seen!) Well, the time came, and DH and I were both really giddy and excited. We talked briefly to Rev. Kevin and stuck our ceremony "cheat sheets" in his pocket and my cleavage.
The music started to play and Jason walked down the aisle.
Canon in D started to play and my dad and I walked down the aisle. LOL I barely remember the walk because I was trying VERY hard not to trip on my dress! I met DH at the altar and the ceremony began... we wrote our own ceremony, vows, etc, and it was a great time. We were so giddy the whole time, our cheeks hurt from smiling. We had a few flubs, and I had to use the cheat sheet for the vows, but it worked really well. We forgot our parents' gifts and so we just gave everyone hugs. Oh well

We met back up at the altar, we were pronounced husband and wife, and shared a kiss, and hightailed it outta there! We went back into the brides' vestibule while the guests assembled outside to throw petals at us.

We did our family pictures and formal portraits in the pavilion, which got to be a little bit of a pain in the butt.
We stuck around as the guests were chauffered to the Grand Floridian. We got picutres at Picture Point and in front of the Pavilion.
We finally arrived at the Grand Floridian where I was bustled and ready to go. We were announced at Commander's Terrace and cut our cake, did more picutres, attempted to dance, and went out in the rain to do more pictures!
The rain was a blessing in disguise because we would have been SO hot in our wedding gear. We ended up SOAKED by the time we got back to the Grand Floridian. We got back upstairs, and what do you know- they all LEFT!!
We sat around in front of the GF waiting and hoping for the limo to come back to get us

I thought it was kind of rude, but whatever.
So we finally get over to the POLY for dinner at 'Ohana... we finally found everyone else at the bar and lobby area waiting for us. The singer/guitar player was apparently talking to my dad- the guitar player lives where my grandparents lived in Hawaii!! So my dad dedicated the Hawaiian Wedding song to us from him and my Grandpa Keoke (his late father). My GOD I cried.

We were finally seated for dinner and I got a Lapu Lapu drink- so yummy- and it was served in a PINEAPPLE!! The food was delicious.
Since we were in our wedding gear, we got announced and had another dance to the Hawaiian Wedding song. I didnt cry this time
Dinner wrapped up, we said our goodbyes, and took a walk around the Poly and up the path to the Pavilion, and reflected on the day. We made our way back to the Poly, up to the Tambu Lounge and had one last drink before our towncar arrived. (We ended up meeting people from Cherry Hill NJ, who knew my best friend from college!! Small World!!)
So, we ended up back at the Caribbean Beach Resort... and the rest is history.

Hopefully in 9 mos or so we'll have a Disney baby!
(Probably won't happen since the next day I got my long-lost-3-week-late period. Booo.

)
