I'm baaaaaaaaack. What is up with OKW Buses???

I wonder if you just ran into terrible luck. I was there in November and we took the buses everywhere, every day and had no problems at all. My cousin just got back last night after being there 9 days and said he had no problems either.....

We were at OKW, Turtle Pond area 11/16 to 11/26. The wait for busses got longer and longer. I use an ECV and on two occasions the driver said he couldn't fit me in, the bus was full but many others were let on and they were not standing in the aisles. To avoid this we walked to Peninsular Dr stop and boarded there. Coming home from DD at night there was a long wait, two DI busses no OKW. I prefer to use WDW transportation, my DH can drink his way around the "world" and I don't worry!

My advice....................FORGET the buses at OKW. We use our rent-a-car to go everywhere while staying there. I actually prefer BWV because of its walking accessibility to MGM and Epcot. When at BWV, we'll often monorail up to the MK.

Where is the monorail stop at BWV and how frequently does the monorail stop there??

SWAMP, you have to enter EPCOT from BWV to catch the monorail at the North entrance. We probably drive to the MK 1/2 of the time and use the monorail the other 1/2.........

Oh. Then I guess when at OKW, we'll often monorail up to the MK also. We don't have to walk thru Epcot to ride it though.

We were @ OKW 12-2 to 12-7. Everything about our "first trip home" was excellent. We did about 7 rides in 3 hours @ MK on a Tues. MVMCP 360 degree fireworks was something to see. The buses were slow though. We may have been standing right next to you Figaro. Were you @ HH for your pick up?
