Hi All,

Not sure if I should post here on UK planning but everyone was incredibly helpful when I joined a few years ago to plan my first WDW trip, since then I've been back twice and visited California 'original' Disneyland last year, and right now I am currently on the Shinkansen (Bullet train) from Kyoto to Tokyo for the last day and a half of my Japan trip, and will be heading to Disneyland this afternoon and Disney Sea tomorrow, staying at the Tokyo Okura Bay hotel before we fly back to the UK. So I can credit this forum with getting me hooked, hopefully Hong Kong next! ;)

If anyone from the UK would like me to look up anything specific or see what their souvenirs are like, or help in anyway I'd be happy too or if I can find things out to help with your planning?! I know when I was planning this trip from the UK the translation was difficult but I think I'm prepared enough (To leg it first thing anyway :P).

I'll complete a trip report if anyone is interested? I have my SLR with me for some good pics!

X

I've was there last year and I'm already thinking when I could be back (not soon enough, unfortunately). Brace yourself, it's going to be a blast!
The only underwhelming thing are the souvenirs, a lot of sweets and chocolates and not much else. DLP has a better range and offer (and WDW is a world apart).

Hi there!!

I was really hoping to get a Tron mickey plush for my husband who is Tron obsessed but we will not make it ourselves. I did line someone up pre-Christmas to bring one home for me but it didn't pan out. If you have space in your bag to bring one home it would be truely appreciated :) goes without saying I would pay you back plus postage etc!

Have a fun time!

It's certainly a culture shock So many people all just racing across the park, the park opened less then an hour ago and the Queue for TOT is already at 160 mins!

Will certainly have a look out for a mickey tron plush for you!

I am enjoying all the matching outfits they all wear! X

I'd be interested to read your report, hoping to do Shanghai & Tokyo in 2018, have fun!

The Japanese school year begins in April, with a month off in August during the summer, and ends in early/mid-March. Hence the long lines. Company employment is similar with new hires starting in April and employees retiring in March. The crowds thin out somewhat in the evening. Enjoy the sights. Disney Sea is a unique Disney experience.

DD was there in september and october. The crowds were massive then as well.

I'd love you to do a trip report - we're going next year, so anything you learned would be useful to know!!
