And the wall is gone from in front of CA. The new turnstiles are open. We went right to star tours and walked on. When we got out the line was 25 minutes. We got FP's after riding and the return time is 9:50. Can't post a pic.

I don't like the new ones very much. Kind of boring. I liked the big California better. I alwaystook my sons pic by the n. It was neat to see how much taller he was getting thru the years.

So how much of the new DCA entrance is open? One half? How do you get through the old turnstyle behind it?

I haven't gone over there yet, so I can't answer those questions. We have gotten a lot dine already. It's more crowded today than yesterday. We have done star tours twice, indie, btmrr, Peter pan, toad, teacups, Alice, a snack, and now are at IHOP waiting for food. SD is 17... We stop to eat often! lol. And we have another FP for star tours..its window is 5-6 pm.

WOW the new entrance is identical to the one at Hollywood Studios in WDW I really wanted to see the CALIFORNIA letters for my first trip to DLR.

I think it looks great but I'm gonna miss those CALI letters...we liked to pose my daughter Aubrey in front of the A. I have a pic of her for almost every year..

I notice the ticket windows in frot of the turnstiles. Do you think these will ever be in operation, seeing as there are the ticket kiosks in the center?

We just about missed it as well! We closed Disneyland on Thursday night and at 1 a.m they started to open up the wall. My son said, hey mom, I think they are opening up the new entrance. I said, no, they are probably just working in there. Fortunately I had to run over to DL to pick up one last sovenier on Friday morning - 8 a.m before we left at 10 and there it was in all its glory. It looks beautiful - and defiantely better than the walls - although they were cute! Too bad we didn't get to use the turnstiles - it was a pain going around the wall!

I absolutely hate the new entrance. It took away that bit of special that it had. Now, it's identical to DHS. What a shame.
