I have just looked at my watch and was really surprised to see it was 10.10pm!! I have had a very enjoyable evening on the internet:surfweb: , catching up on all the gossip( not tv spoilers though!) and reading trip reports( Keep them coming they are all great:thumbsup2 ) all the while Dh has been glued to the screen (and some lady called Lara) :happytv: with only the occassional ----! or ----!! to break the silence!! this is great why didn't i get him one earlier?;)

I know! I used to feel a bit guilty spending so much time on here but now Gavin has his x-box we are even :)

:yay:

ROFL! It's years since dh conquered the first Tomb Raider, but he's just bought Tomb Raider Legends with some HMV vouchers he was given for Christmas. Only last night I lamented, "I've lost you to this, haven't I?" (after hours and hours of talking to him without even one iota of acknowledgement).

What have I been doing tonight? Helping him try to solve the puzzles.

I'm a computer widow, DH spends hours on here editing photos and home made videos of the children as babies, transferring them to DVD. Recently Ashley had a laptop bought for him, so when he's not using it I am able to Dis a bit in the evenings, but have to do it mainly during the day. Lost our eldest son to the X box, and he's got mocks this week and SATs in May so I have to nag for revision to be done. He thinks 5 minutes revision is worth a evening in his bedroom!

i know the feeling. At first DH was a widow to the DIS and then i was a widow to World of Warcraft:confused3 problem is its a nasty cycle, wish i would have set a curfew to it when we were still together,

I'm afraid I can't comment. I've never really been into PC games and couldn't see what all the fuss was about until.......guitar hero!

On Chirstmas Day my newphews let me have a go on their guitars which plug into a Playstation 2 and I was addicted. (Came off 5 hours later!)Bought myself one and now I spend hours playing rock guitar!

I'm a 40 year old mother of 2 toddlers so ALL my family are in shock but I don't watch soaps and not into rubbish TV so while my DH is revising for exams I while away the time living my 20's again! When you hit the right notes in sequence you get such a buzz - if you don't be prepared to be boo'd off stage!!! :rotfl2:

:rotfl: fantastic:rotfl:

Good for you!! I've had a go on dh's X box and i love Project Gotham racing:drive: but i'm absolutley no good, i crash whenever i go round the corners, dh has to keep stopping for me to catch up:eek:

Dh can't wait for our ds to be able to play with him but he's got a few years yet, ds is only 2!!!

I used to :surfweb: during the day whist ds was asleep but this is now a very rare occurrance, in fact he's not asleep now although he is still in his room, i hate to think what mischief he is up to today;)

On going to bed last night Dh gave me an hour long commentary/ lecture on how good the game was and how i should help him when he's playing it!! i just Mmm'ed and nodded alot:rolleyes: and he has the cheek to accuse me of being obsessed by holidays and WDW!!!:rolleyes1

We played this at my brother's over Christmas. I was rubbish, but it was good fun. Maybe I need to get one and practice...

My DBF has a PS2. He doesn't play on it that much anymore, but when he does.......   he gets completely engrossed and has to explain to me what he's doing, and why, and how good he is at it :rolleyes1

Think its a man thing Kathryn;)

DH bought me a laptop for my birthday last month. We can now sit next to each other while I DIS and he is on X box instead of different rooms. Seems to make a difference.
