I'm Afraid To Ask.... How's Tony's Lately?

Do they not serve breakfast anymore? I didn't even SEE this place when we went in 04, I thought it was gone! It was not where I thought it was, silly me. I didn't even read a map to check! I remember a WONDERFUL breakfast here on our honeymoon in 91. The best French toast EVER. I've wanted to go back there forever.

Tony's does not do breakfast anymore.

My DW and I had dinner at Tony's in early December one night. It was a pleasant night so we asked for an outside table so that we could watch Spectromagic. The service was great and the food and view outstsanding. If only I could have had a glass of wine with my steak. :(

We had dessert as the parade was starting. I got some of my best Spectro photos right from my seat. :) It was the first time we got to sit while watching the parade (and we have watched it MANY times).

We would definitely do Tony's again!

they had the best breakfast, it was a family tradition to go there our first day since I was 6 years old on my first trip to WDW. I wish they would bring breakfast back to Tony's!

You may know this already, but the breakfast at Kona is also wonderful and they have great coffee there. :goodvibes The pineapple macadamia nut pancakes are delicious, much better than the Tonga Toast IMHO. It's only a quick monorail ride from the MK.

Breakfaast at MK is difficult. If you don't want the buffet at Crystal Palace, the only other place is the Bakery where you can get a breakfast sandwich or breakfast pastries. The cinnamon buns are very rich and they serve them all day. They are very much like the ones they used to serve at Tusker House. My DW and I managed to get one of the last ones just before they closed at midnight during MVMCP.

Another suggestion for a breakfast in the MK - French Toast Loaf from the Main St Bakery. Mmmmmm

We had one of our best meals at Tony's in August. We all enjoyed our meal and our waiter was the best. Awesome service and good food. We give Tony's a big thumbs up!

We'll be there in a couple weeks. As long as they can do an edible spaghetti and meatballs, my kids will be happy!

We ate there 15 months ago, it was a take it or leave it to me. I really wanted it to be good, also. I do agree that the bread was good, but our food was missing something, sauce. I did not eat the steak, we ate Pasta.

I was also wondering about tony's, I always have a hard time deciding where to eat in the MK.

Sounds like this is somewhere we should try. I'm very picky, but both DH and DD6 love pasta and pizza dishes. Now I know I can get a decent steak - I think we should definately try it! :)

We ate here in Dec, and we both loved it. DH said it was one of the best steaks he's ever had (and DH is VERY picky about his steaks). We will definitely eat here on our next trip!!!!

After several years, Tony's is finally getting great feedback. We'll have to have lunch there on our next trip. Perhaps it's becoming a Disney "hidden gem."

We really have enjoyed our meals there. Last time, Dh had the steak and it was excellent. The spaghetti and meatballs my kids had were just fine, about like what you'd get at Olive Garden or the like. I thought the desserts and bread were both to die for (pistachio creme brulee was awesome).

I think if you are used to dining at small, family owned type Italian restaurants, espeically in the Northeast (like NYC for example) Tony's would seem pretty sorry. The sauce is defintely not what somebody's Italian grandmother would make but since my grandmother wasn't Italian, I was quite happy with it! And that steak gets mentioned again and again and we ourselves thought it was wonderful.

And the atmosphere is very nice and our service has been wonderful. Give it a try, you never know until you do.
