My partner of 9 years is an avid softball player and loves everything about the game. I on the other hand have little or no intrest. I used to go to all of her games but now she is playing on 2 teams and going to multiple games and practices each week. We have a 4 year old DD which makes going to everything more difficult than when I used to go to all of the games. Any ideas on how to get in sync with the whole softball thing.... I do have to admit it was a lot more fun to watch when she was on an all womens team.. now it is co-ed with most of the teams playing as couples... there is no longer a women's league here. I hate to play so me playing on a team is not an option. Last summer I pretty much bagged out on going for the most part which to a certain extent caused us to grow apart... she is already to the point that almost everyone and everything she talks about it related to the game which is becoming annoying to me. It seems that she is not interested in anything else....games... tournaments....softball buddies... who can hit it over the fence... who dove for the grounder.... etc. etc. etc.

I would take another trip to WDW but we just got back and I have no more vacation time.

Well ok it is not softball, but golf. This takes even longer then 9 innings..

Not softball either, but football. Mine plays for The Pittsburgh Pro team, The Pittsburgh Passion. So she hits the gym by herself at least 4 days a week (for about 3 hrs) 1 night is film, 3 nights of practice and then games on Sat night. I really love seeing her so excited. Of course when this is over then we start with Steeler football........

I'm a softball widow - DH is there playing right now, and I'm home with the kids! And the worst part about it, is the fact that TODAY IS OUR 5 YEAR ANNIVERSARY AND HE DIDN'T EVEN REMEMBER!!! So much for marrage, softball/baseball are tops for him!
