I'm starting to plan a trip for Nove 2003 & we want to include a weekend at Universal. I was surprised to read that a lot of their hotel rooms do not have a balcony! This is an important feature to us, as we will be travelling with a toddler & an infant. We need a place to escape with a drink after they go to bed!

So, what do I have to book to get a balcony at any of the onsite hotels? We don't really care about view. Quiet is nice. Which hotel isn't important although the PBH sounds wonderful. We would like to spend as little as possible & still guarentee a balcony. We will have all of the cards - entertainment, Loews, fan club.

Thank you so much for any advice! :)

Call and book thru the 800 number at lowes then call PBH directly. There the only hotel on site that offer balconys. If you tell me your preferred view I might could recommend a room is I"m fimilar with the area you want. I can help you with beach and villa pool rooms. You can call the hotel directly after you make ressies and get your request granted. Just call and ask for guest services.

I don't really care about view :) Just quiet! What are the differences between the 2 categories you mentioned?

Well, the whole place is quiet. It amazes me we never heard anyone in the next room, doors opening ect.... The Villa pool is quieter room 2674 has a queen, and no balcony, 2676 has queens and a balcony, 2678 would be a king I think that's the lay out double check that. You could call the hotel directly and tell them your needs and what your looking for and they will recommend the perfect room for you. That's how i know about these rooms stated to be the best on the sixth floor by the room comtrollers. I don't believe there wrong 2674/1676 are dead center the villa pool.
